Marbouha wakes Al-Kabeer up in his bed while wearing a hat covered in balloons, attempting to startle him and get him to celebrate Sham El-Nessim. Al-Kabeer, however, adamantly refuses and proceeds to pop the balloons. Marbouha sits with the children, Johnny and El-Atra; Johnny busies himself by painting eggs, while El-Atra tries to impersonate a rabbit—a stunt that leads to a comical altercation with Al-Kabeer and results in a playful punishment. Meanwhile, Ashraf asks Al-Kabeer to appoint his son as a new village guard. Shortly after, Marbouha warns Al-Kabeer, El-Atra, and Johnny that they must bathe for the occasion of Sham El-Nessim, but Al-Kabeer defies his wife’s instructions and refuses to bathe. Suddenly, "Al-Shammama"—a wicked, mythical fairy—appears; smelling a stinky smell from Al-Kabeer, she spirits him away to her strange world, from which he may never be able to return anymore.

   S8:E23/12/2024

Al-Kabeer succeeds in fulfilling the condition set by "Al-Shamama" by gathering 100 people from the village of Al-Mazarita who did not bathe on the day of Sham El-Nessim. This allows him to return to his normal size and resume his ordinary life, having previously been shrunk to the size of a "Tom Thumb" (a tiny, finger-sized figure). Marbouha, believing that Al-Kabeer has died during his absence, calls for Dr. Rabie to try and revive him using various comical, folk-remedy methods—such as employing onions and *toumeya* (garlic sauce). Upon his return to Al-Mazarita, Al-Kabeer finds himself in a series of ironic situations and humorous encounters with the villagers. He begins apprehending certain individuals—such as "Tabaza"—to add them to the list of people required by Al-Shamama.
