Based on the original version of same name created by Cris Morena, the series tells the story of a group of orphans living in a manor, known as Raio de Luz, struggling and being guided by a young woman, Carol, that assumes a maternal figure for them. Their experiences such as discovering first love, deceptions, loneliness and friendship, as well as adventures in fantasy, are depicted throughout the series. The narrative is followed by musical themes and videoclips.

Carrossel is a children's telenovela created by Abel Santa Cruz and written by Íris Abravanel, originally transmitted on SBT from May 21, 2012 to present. It is a Brazilian remake of the Mexican telenovela Carrusel, which in turn had been inspired by the Argentinean telenovela Jacinta Pichimahuida, la Maestra que no se Olvida. Chiquititas is a Brazilian children's musical telenovela co-produced by SBT and Telefe and originally broadcast on SBT from July 28, 1997, to January 19, 2001. Based on the original Argentine telenovela created by Cris Morena, it was adapted for Brazilian television by Ecila Pedroso for the first season and Caio de Andrade for the subsequent seasons. Starring Flávia Monteiro, Fernanda Souza, and a large ensemble cast, the series ran for five seasons and became one of the most successful children's productions in Brazilian television history. The story follows a group of orphaned children living at the Raio de Luz orphanage, where they find love, friendship, and hope under the care of the kind-hearted Carolina "Carol" Correia. As the children face abandonment, family conflicts, first love, and personal challenges, they rely on music, imagination, and friendship to overcome adversity while dreaming of finding a family and a brighter future.


Amigas & Rivais is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT in association with Televisa and originally broadcast from August 6, 2007, to January 18, 2008. It is a remake of the Mexican telenovela Amigas y rivales (2001), created by Emilio Larrosa. Adapted by Letícia Dornelles, with text supervision by Thereza di Giácomo, the telenovela stars Cacau Melo, Lisandra Cortez, Karla Tenório, Thaís Pacholek, and Talita Castro. The story follows four young women from different social backgrounds: Nicole, Laura, Olívia, and Helena. Although they have different personalities and life experiences, they form a strong friendship while facing the challenges of youth, love, family conflicts, and personal struggles. Their lives become complicated by secrets, betrayals, jealousy, and the schemes of Rosana, Helena's manipulative stepmother, who is willing to do anything to achieve her goals.

Cúmplices de um Resgate is a Brazilian children's musical telenovela produced by SBT and originally broadcast from August 3, 2015, to December 13, 2016. It is a remake of the Mexican telenovela Cómplices al rescate (2002), created by Rosy Ocampo. Adapted by Íris Abravanel, with direction by Reynaldo Boury, the telenovela stars Larissa Manoela, João Guilherme, Duda Nagle, and Juliana Baroni. The story follows Manuela and Isabela, twin sisters separated at birth who grow up in very different worlds. Manuela is a sweet and talented girl raised in a small town, while Isabela is a wealthy and spoiled young woman living in the city. After discovering each other's existence, they decide to switch places to uncover the truth about their past and face family secrets, conflicts, and challenges. Along the way, they find friendship, love, and the importance of family.

After a family tragedy, the sweet Dulce Maria is cared for by kind nuns at a boarding school. But things change when Dad comes back into her life.


A Caverna Encantada is a Brazilian children's telenovela produced by SBT in partnership with Disney and originally broadcast from July 29, 2024, to September 5, 2025. Created by Íris Abravanel, with collaboration from Andreza Porto, Denise Barbosa, Fany Higuera, Gustavo Braga, and Luiz Felipe Pereira Santos, and directed by Ricardo Mantoanelli, the telenovela is an adaptation of the books A Little Princess and The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The story follows Anna, a seven-year-old girl whose father, Paulo, a missionary doctor, leaves her at the Rosa dos Ventos boarding school before going on a dangerous mission. When he mysteriously fails to return, Anna begins searching for answers about his disappearance and discovers secrets about her past. At the boarding school, she forms friendships, faces challenges, and experiences adventures filled with mystery, fantasy, and hope.


Topa ou Não Topa is the Brazilian version of Deal or No Deal, broadcast in Portuguese by SBT. It is hosted by Silvio Santos. There are 26 cases, containing amounts from R$ 0.50 to R$ 1,000,000. On August 25, 2010, the gameshow returned and the host is Roberto Justus but in similar set to the old version. Like most sets of Brazilian versions of US game shows, their set and graphics are a dead ringer to the American counterpart. The R$1,000,000 grand prize was won by a man named Paulo in April, 2007.
