Mike's political mentor is preparing to visit with the mayor preparing to appoint him head of the city's millennium project. Marie is still in town and messing around with James. Annie attempts to be a good cousin and invites Emily along for the weekend but confronts her about being a downer on the trip. Emily purposefully neglects to wake Annie up for a sweat lodge session and uses the opportunity to turn the girls against Annie. Naomi, who originally thinks the retreat is silly, suddenly decides to extend her stay. Silver runs into Navid, and the two have a secret rendezvous. Adrianna returns from the retreat and calls a tabloid to sell an exclusive story. Meanwhile, Debbie plans a romantic dinner for Ryan, but they are interrupted by Dixon, forcing Ryan to quickly find a place to hide. Charlie realizes Annie has feelings for Liam.

Dixon and Navid formalize their partnership, and a chance meeting with Snoop Dogg could mean good news for Shirazi Studios. Naomi tries to impress Max by dressing up in an Avatar costume, but doesn’t quite get the reaction she was hoping for. After learning the truth about Navid, Adrianna vows to get revenge. Meanwhile, Annie and Liam work together to expose Emily, and Ray confides in Ivy.

As the gang prepares for prom, Dixon and Annie learn some troubling news about their futures, and Ivy discovers that Raj's health has taken a turn for the worse. With Silver away in the hospital, Adrianna tries to rekindle her romance with Navid. Meanwhile, Naomi and Max's relationship is strained to the breaking point.

After being embarrassed over wearing a childish costume at a high school Halloween costume party and being ignored by the guys, Sue asks a flabbergasted Mike for his advice on what boys want when it comes to girls. Meanwhile, Frankie reluctantly volunteers to take Brick's socially awkward school social skills group trick-or-treating, and Axl and his friends devise a plan to trick rather than treat the neighborhood kids on Halloween.

Sue wishes for a big birthday bash for her Leap Year birthday. Meanwhile, Frankie learns that Mike has been taking care of a stray cat, Brick develops a crush at school, and Axl becomes fascinated with vacuuming.

Frankie is worried when Brick decides to go on a three-day school trip to Chicago; Sue wants to know if Darrin, one of Axl's friends, has feelings for her.

Frankie tells the kids what she wants for Mother's day so one of them can clue in Mike; after repeatedly failing the driving test, Sue feels resentful when her friends get their licenses; Axl receives stunning news from Cassidy.
