Ashaf reminisces about his first meeting with Guideau. Three years ago, a sleepy farming town blamed a young witch for a string of gruesome incidents. But what kind of "witch" can't use magic?

Helga and Guideau go head-to-head with the Paladin Corps's Matt Cugat, an ice mage with power to rival a witch. While they struggle to escape with the Demon Sword, Ashaf suspects a plot.

Ashaf heads off with Helga to find somewhere safer for her to stay, but while they are gone, Guideau overhears a bunch of kids talking about a witch and goes to investigate. But is the rumor all that it seems?

Guideau's frustration mounts as witch-related cases prove hard to come by, but a string of horrific serial murders may prove the answer to her prayers. Meanwhile, the city police force's only mage has her own ideas about the case.

With all the signs pointing to a witch being behind the murders, Ashaf and Guideau must track down the perp. Unfortunately for them, however, this serial killer is powerful and always seems to be one step ahead.

Yuuhi and Samidare meet the Dog Knight, Shinonome Hangetsu and grow closer to him, but Yuuhi grows very wary after watching him easily defeat a golem by himself with his power. Meanwhile, Samidare's father returns as Hangetsu is making moves on Hisame. After interacting with several kinds of "adults", Yuuhi recalls his dead father—

Yuuhi struggles to cope with Hangetsu's death and actually fight as new Beast Knights appear before him and Samidare, and band together to face the next golems.

Tarou has always been worried about Hanako after her wish made her more likely die, and when the Beast Knights struggle against the ninth golem, he rises up to protect her.

Shimaki struggles to create his next golem, and Yuuhi must face Anima's trial after dealing with the death of his grandfather.

Ray takes the perfect job and goes grinding for levels, but winds up geting more than he bargained for. A trip to the Tomb Labyrinth proves fruitful.

The party soon realizes it'll take brains, brawn, and maybe a little something extra to save a group of tians from the Great Miasmic Ogre, Gardranda.

Two strangers start asking around town for a witch, but the locals don't take kindly to their insinuations. Do they speak from baseless prejudice, or is there more to the city's hero than she lets on?

Executioners corner the helpless Falvell. With Ashaf out of comission, only Guideau can save the young witch. But what could persuade the gruff and violent Guideau to lend a helping hand?

Hangetsu's wish has both made Yuuhi stronger and made him a target for Mikazuki while the rest of the Beast Knights are brought together.

With the survivng ten Beast Knights now united, Yuuhi learns of Nagumo's past as a detective while Shimaki converses with Animus in his dreams.

Samidare and Yuuhi help training Tarou and Hanako, however, there doesn't seems to be any progress. Mikazuki calls Yuuhi and tells him that its summer and that is associated with beaches and swimsuits, and that they should held a training camp.
