Aoba finishes her project of modeling villagers and gets a new one. Her next project is to design and model a character. Seeing Aoba struggling with the design, Ko gives her helpful advice. At the team leader meeting, Ko and Rin find out that they are a little bit behind schedule. It looks like the character team will have to stay some nights and come in on the weekends to catch up.

The donut store near the Eagle Jump office is having a store-wide 50% off sale. So naturally, everyone shows up to office with boxes of donuts, and it's time for a donut party.

Hotaru and Renge are invited to the Koshigaya’s house for breakfast. Afterwards, the girls, accompanied by Kazuha, go to the beach, where Komari’s height leads her to be mistaken for a lost child. On their way home, the girls stop at a railside noodle restaurant, where a prank by Natsumi on Komari backfires due to Renge’s innocence. They manage to catch the last train home on time, but accidentally leave Kazuha behind.

Hotaru gets along with the Koshigaya family’s next door neighbour, Konomi Fujimiya, whilst Komari laments that the two seem more grown up than she is. Later, Komari joins Hotaru and Renge in doing some sketching, where she ends up becoming a model for them. Afterwards, Konomi helps Komari and Natsumi make dried persimmons.

Due to a snowy blizzard, the girls end up having to spend the night at school, with Hotaru and Natsumi competing against each other to see who gets to sleep in a futon, eventually decided to just kick Kazuho out of hers. Later that night, Hotaru decides to check out the snow and see the starry night sky, leading to some misunderstandings from Komari and Natsumi. Later, on another snowy day, the gang decide to try their hand at skiing before building a snow house and having some hot food.

One morning during winter break, Ichijo Hotaru and Koshigaya Komari are on a walk when they run into Fujimiya Konomi on her way back from practice. Komari takes great interest in Konomi’s cellphone.

Beep boop! Koma-plushie is live, boop beep! But Hotaru isn’t a master of robotics just yet, and her pet project still has a long way to go before it’s ready to fly.

Parents’ Day provides Natsumi a particular variety of anxiety, but she finds a way to relax when Renge brings home a new friend.

The self-proclaimed ultimate maid Tohru storms into a new maid cafe opening up soon with a sense of rivalry. However, when she returns she says, "Somehow I've ended up working there!" Ginko is waiting along the sea shore, for a transport to get him across the bay when he meets a man called Shirou, who lost his wife under strange circumstances. Ginko seems interested and decides to listen to his story about how he lost his wife in a swarm of sea snakes, during fog. Ginko later comes back with information on the Mushi that caused the bizarre events.

Saikawa visits Miss Kobayashi's home to play. However, there's a girl that's unfamiliar to her (Ilulu)... Even after inviting her to join their games, Ilulu coldly refuses. Then Lucoa happens to stop by and she notices Ilulu's feelings as she tries to avoid them, so she makes an effort to help the dragon out.

Ginko hears a rumor around town that a man is has prophetic dreams every once in a while. He suspects that Mushi are living in his dreams. He gives the man medicine to keep them under control and says he will come back when he has used about all of them. When Ginko returns, the village is deserted and torn up. Ginko finds the man alone in is house. The man then tells him about what happened while he was away.

Some kids enter Adashino-sensei's shed and find a lot of strange things, but there's one thing in particular that interests them. It's night and Adashino-sensei is called upon to look at one of the kids, a girl who has become bitterly cold, and the cause is a mysterious ink stone she touched. Luckily for Adashino-sensei, Ginko is passing through the village, and he shows him the ink stone, which he identifies it as a "Kumohami."

Miss Kobayashi managed to drive Ilulu away, but in return she got a you-know-what attached to her groin with magic. Because of that you-know-what, she starts perceiving behaviors that she would usually think nothing of in a different light and starts getting more and more turned on by Tohru.

A typical morning with typical dragon girls. A priceless slice of daily life without any complaints. However, ever since Miss Kobayashi heard the tale from the Emperor of Demise, something has been slightly weighing on her. Yet it's not clear to her what exactly that is. As that uncertainty builds, the summer festival they've all been waiting for is drawing closer.

"There are countless fissures in the physical world. Those who vanish like smoke are lost in such hollows. Without their memories, without their souls..." Ginko receives a letter in a cocoon, but it isn't adressed to him. Rather, it's addressed to an old accquaintance, Aya Tozawa, so he decides to visit her. Ginko is concerned about Aya, as she is still searching for her sister, who has been trapped in an Uroana for 5 years.

A lady named Aki discovered a green stain on her wedding gown, one year later she gave birth to a boy who, now grown up, has the same marks on his body. It turns out that the boy was originally born not as a human but as some shapeless green blob, which then turned into a human. Her husband asks for Ginko's help yet he is unable to save her son because it's the work of a "Watahaki".

Tomozaki rehearses with Hinami to prepare for his movie date with Kikuchi and is invited to an overnight barbecue with his popular normie classmates.

An overheard conversation between Mizusawa and Hinami gives Tomozaki a different perspective on his private lessons in conquering the game of life.

Things get awkward around Mimimi. Tomozaki finally chooses the two girls he'd like to pursue, and Hinami gives him more tasks in pursuit of his goals.

As rehearsals begin and Kikuchi polishes her script, she reveals her philosophy to a concerned Tomozaki. Mimimi and Tomozaki work on their comedy.

With the Gama Gama Aquarium soon to be closed, Kukuru is desperate to find ways to keep it afloat. She tries to figure out a way to market the illusions that people had been witnessing there.

Akari comes up with an idea for an event at the aquarium, but she doesn’t seem to be particularly enthusiastic. Kukuru wants to change that.
