But instead of listening, Terri defends him. Their discussion provokes Rick, who listens in, gets angry and takes off in a huff. Terri is forced to choose between her loyalties to Paige and her feelings for Rick, and decides to follow Rick into the woods. Feeling angry and betrayed, Rick knocks Terri down. Meanwhile, Liberty convinces J.T. to ask Manny to the semi-formal and he does but when he sees her with Craig he starts to get second thoughts.

After Police Captain William Boone's wife is killed, he is recruited to work for the taelons, a seemingly benevolent alien race that has been on Earth for 3 years. To do so he will be implanted with a CVI- a cyber viral implant that will expand his mental abilities and allow him to control a bio-weapon of unlimited power. However before he can make his decision he is also recruited by the resistance, a group of humans who oppose the taelons being on Earth. Lead by Jonathan Doors, the resistance informs Boone that the taelons are not what they appear to be. The CVI implant brainwashes its subjects into following the taelon blindly, in effect controlling them. The resistance informs Boone that they can remove this aspect from the CVI on the condition that he works for both the taelons and the resistance. Boone accepts and now searches for the truth of why the taelons are on earth and if they are responsible for the death of his wife.

Boone attempts to track his wife's murderer. He is determined to find out if it was the taelon companion Da'an who ordered her death to get Boone to work for the companions or if it was the resistance that killed her, securing Boone as the resistance's eyes and ears of the companions.

When Harper accidentally overrides Andromeda's personality with an older version, she hunts down the crew and goes on an old mission in which her former crew was slaughtered.

Dylan is faced with a difficult decision when Andromeda slipstreams back in time -- days before the climactic battle of the Nietzschean Revolution where the Commonwealth was defeated and the Nietzschean Alliance was destroyed.

Dylan and Andromeda are overwhelmed when Beka launches the nova bomb, but the Magog "god" manages to absorb all the energy. The distraction gives them time to free Tyr and Harper and get out of there. Trance manages to remove Tyr's spider eggs, but the procedure would kill Harper. As the Andromeda responds to a distress call from a planet on the brink of destruction, the crew intercept a transmission from a ship returning to the surface. After seeing the message from Rev Bem the crew loads up to save him from the planet. As Rev is following the path of the Divine flashbacks occur of the Andromeda crew to help him on his way.

Tyr receives a communication from a human on an abandoned planet and leaves to meet her. As he does, a mad scientist boards the Andromeda using dark matter ninjas. After beating them, the man introduces himself. He loves the woman Tyr is with and wants to kill her, if he cant have her, nobody can. After saving her, he forgives her and lets her live. The episode ends with Tyr revealing that she is actually a Neitzian, the last female from Codiac, Tyrs pride. He says that he wants them to start a new Codiac pride but she refuses and Tyr leaves.

Wade and Rembrandt recall their slide to a world plagued by earthquakes and populated by primitive people. Wade falls into a deep chasm and Quinn goes to rescue her, while Rembrandt learns of Arturo's illness.

Johnny inadvertently screws up when he sells a box of junk to a retarded neighbor without checking the Manifest. A cursed antique car radio is among the items sold. The retarded man's brother, a car repairman and a racist, discovers that the radio can be used to travel back in time when smeared with a murdered victim's blood. He plans to travel back to the 50's in the South and prevent his father from being arrested and killed on murder charges, by killing the black lawyer his father tried to kill. Johnny and Jack, holding on to the car during the racist's second trip, travel back in time with him and manage to stop him. Ultimately, the racist ends up being burned at the stake by his father and other KKK members, who mistakenly think he is working with the black civil rights lawyer he was trying to kill.
