She walk away for a moment when her stomach started growling. Now, the capital is the only place that is not a desolate land, but the two still live there waiting for the return of the pirate, Ace. Luffy reveals to them that unfortunately they waited in vain since Ace died. Hitetsu explains that, wrecked on the island, Ace helped them four years earlier during a famine. Meanwhile, Basil Hawkins, now a subject of Kaido, goes to investigate the soldiers defeated by Luffy.
