In this hilarious Halloween episode, while trying to juggle studying, taking care of her family while Dee's away and planning for her Halloween party, Moesha, along with Niecy, starts using energy-raising vitamins to help her with mid-terms, but the vitamins cause some peculiar side effects. Meanwhile, Dorian becomes a dog trainer for a neighbor's dog named Frisky. But when he can't seem to keep the dog from barking and growling, things get ugly.

Toni and Maya get into another argument before an evening out, in part because Toni refuses to believe that Maya can get the girls into an exclusive club. Toni tries to gain admission to the club and fails. Maya shows up and easily gets herself, Joan, Lynn and William past the doorman. Joan convinces the reluctant Maya to also get Toni into the club. When the doorman waves to Toni, another woman believes the wave was meant for her, and they get into an argument. Joan tries to play peacemaker, but the situation turns into a brawl. Maya and Lynn jump into the fight, but Toni is hurt by the fact that Joan fails to back her up. She begins to question their friendship, so Joan searches for a way to patch things up.

Moesha turns 18 and the gang decides to throw her a surprise birthday party but Kim spoils it by telling her. But the real surprise for Moesha is when all her former boyfriends, Ohagi, Q, Jeremy and Aaron, all stop by to show how they all want her back. But Moesha doesn't want to start over with any of them- except for her former teacher, Channing. After realizing that a relationship between them wouldn't work, Moesha and Channing both decide to just remain friends.

After a three-month separation, Q comes to visit Moesha, along with Khalib, for Thanksgiving. Dee's father, Arthur Loving, visits as well and brings along with him his grudge towards Frank. As Moesha and Q make up for time spent apart, Q makes an odd request involving her engagement ring. (Q needs the ring to help finance some new rap group he's producing.) Khalib advises his help and concern for Moesha and offers to lend them the money. But when Moesha tells Q the news, he overreacts; leading to the end of their engagement.

When Professor Oglevee hears of Veronica's engagement, he becomes so depressed that he doesn't notice Nikki's moved in to his apartment. After realizing that he has to move on and that Nikki has moved in with him, Stanley tells Nikki to leave his apartment. Meanwhile, Kim searches for a new roommate after Stevie moves into her parent's home. She prefers her roommate to be a male and comes across Bradley who had just been kicked out of his parent's house. Kim has feelings for Bradley but is saddened to learn that he's gay and throws a wild party in Kim's apartment. After kicking Bradley out, Nikki shows up to let Kim know that she needs a roommate because she gave up the lease for her own apartment.
