When Chinami comes to greet them Mitsuo flees, and Chinami says that he has been avoiding her, while explaining the reason she rejected him was because his confession was made in public. Linda soon appears, and Banri flees, noting that he has been avoiding Linda since their last conversation, despite her constant attempts to speak with him again. As time passes, Banri and Kōko enjoy their time as a couple, but Banri continues to ignore Linda, which upsets her, and causes Nana to take notice. One day, Banri is called back to his apartment because of a plumbing leak, but when he arrives he meets Nana again, who reveals that she is his neighbor, and that she faked the leak to get him to meet with Linda.
