After a hard day's work collecting garbage, Roc Emerson looks forward to relaxing at home with his family. Instead he argues with his live-in father, Andrew, and finds his wife, Elanor, leaving for her job as a nurse at the local hospital. Worse, his younger brother, Joey, whom Roc hasn't seen for five years, arrives at the door penniless, homeless, and unemployed.

After Stan is arrested for tax evasion, Grace and Karen timidly visit him in prison. Grace is so moved to help her worried friend that she moves right into Karen's deluxe apartment-in-the-sky, where she becomes a demanding guest who's soon hooked on servants, bubble baths and an extravagant lifestyle. Meanwhile, as Stan's attorney, Will struggles with stage-fright when he babbles on during a TV news interview, so Jack convinces him to polish his communication skills by attending an acting class ruled by an imperious teacher.

At the gym, Will spies another guy who looks maddeningly familiar, while Jack gets a workout as he keeps repeating one of his nonsensical catchphrases in hopes of seeing it become popular among the sweat set. Meanwhile, Grace gets some bad advice from Karen when she seeks a loan to expand her company so she stoops to asking her wealthy employee herself for the money—even if she has to resort to drastic measures to get the point across.

The group go on a road trip for Grace's get away weekend -- a weekend devoted to not mentioning the name ""Leo."" Jack and Karen hate the car ride and decide to bail on the plan. Joe and Louis bicker about who takes better care of whom when Louis discovers that Joe and Ali haven’t been “romantic” lately.

After Joe uncovers sexy photos of Ali with famous baseball player Derek Jeter and tells Louis about it, Ali questions Joe’s ability to keep a secret from his partner.

Joe is stuck in the middle after Ali finds out that Louis has a key to Joe’s apartment and she does not.

Free-spirited Dharma and straitlaced Greg break the news to their respective parents, none of whom are especially thrilled with the match.

Will reluctantly decides to use a birthday gift certificate from Grace to consult a psychic about his future and encounters an absent-minded fortune teller whose frighteningly personal predictions leave him reeling. Diane tries to help Lilith, the lady psychologist attracted to Frasier, to soften her appearance and surprise Frasier during their television debate.

Frasier and Lilith invite Sam and Diane over for dinner to celebrate their first week of cohabitation. But things start going wrong when Lilith finds out Frasier and Diane were engaged, and she locks herself in the bathroom. Then Sam and Diane have an argument as well. Meanwhile Cliff agrees to babysit Carla's kids.

Whilst watching the National Cable Ace Awards, the gang sees ex-waitress Diane Chambers winning the award for best writing in a mini-series. This leads to Sam calling Diane to congratulate her, and to find out that she is married and has children. Sam tells her Diane that he too has a wife and kids, and invites Diane and her husband to visit them. Sam strongly believes Diane is lying and becomes really shocked when she walks into Cheers the following day to meet Mrs Malone. Meanwhile Rebecca's boyfriend Don proposes to her and she accidently says no, ends up heartbroken and agrees to play Sam's wife to fool Diane. Sam and Rebecca have dinner with Diane and her husband, Reed Manchester. During the dinner Don arrives and proposes to her again, and this time she manages to say yes! They leave the dinner, and Sam thinks he must look like a fool. Then Diane's husband turns out to be a fake when *his* husband Kevin appears!

A deceiving, but flattering, newspaper photo makes Grace look more ""endowed"" than she really is and gains her the attention of a former high school heartthrob who was never one to keep abreast of her before. Jack is destroyed to learn that Will had a fling with Walter, Jack's ex-boyfriend.

Woody and Kelly's wedding faces some funny obstacles, before and during the ceremony, including Sam's flirtation with a German guest who turns out to be married, the priest dying and Kelly's Uncle Roger having to perform the ceremony - but only if he is drunk, Rebecca having to ice the cake after insulting the kitchen staff, and Lilith having to sing to the guests in order to stop them, and Woody and Kelly, from finding out the disasters going on behind the scenes.
