Kyle finds himself smitten with Josie, a girl he is used to spending time with in detention, but fears having a girlfriend will turn him into a "wuss." Meanwhile, T.J. and the boys are hard at work on a "destructo-boggan" which is guaranteed to knock all of the inner tubes off the slopes this year, and Sam is poodle-sitting his girlfriend Angela's dog, Sally Sue, which doesn't sit well with the Savage dog.

Chris is thrilled when he is asked to the "Backwards Dance," in which the girls ask the boys, by Jessica, the hottest girl in school. The only problem is that Jessica is the leader of the dance squad, and Chris – who is a terrible dancer – will have to dance with her in front of the entire school. Meanwhile, there's trouble in paradise when Angela and Sam disagree on plans for the dance; and, in their quest to film each other doing dumb things for an America's Funniest Home Videos-style website, Kyle and T.J. finally drive Nick to the breaking point.

The principal suspects Kyle, Chris and Sam of starting a food fight and makes them serve as lunch ladies in the school cafeteria for a week as punishment. Meanwhile, Nick is having to work the night shift, and Jack tricks him into hiring April – a girl he has a crush on – to baby-sit T.J..

Best friends CeCe and Rocky audition for the show, "Shake it Up Chicago". Unfortunately, CeCe did not get it because she froze in the middle of her audition (she usually pictures everyone else naked that is why she is never nervous). Rocky did well and got in. Rocky did not want to go to the show because CeCe was not on it. CeCe forces Rocky to go to the show. On Rocky's first show, she brought CeCe and handcuffed each other, and they ended up dancing together. The host thought that they have the "it" factor so, CeCe got in as well. In the end, the girls get $40 each but only $2 was left for them because they had to pay for new handcuffs, thrift store dance clothes, and transportation.

After going to a taping of her favorite childhood show, Pauly and Pals, Sonny gets an opportunity to be Pauly for a day, but this makes her woefully late to her date with Chad, making him worry that she's lost interest in him.

After an over-night smash video hit on the internet, Austin pressures Ally to finish lyrics on a new song because he wants to release another music video.

When Dez and Trish decide to make a movie about Austin and Ally, they bring up unknown issues in Austin & Ally’s musical partnership that strain the duo’s current friendship. Trish and Dez are left to bring Austin and Ally back together as a team while still finishing their movie.

Jerry signs the gang up for the “Hottest Dance Crew Competition” at the mall, but quickly learns they can’t dance. Smooth (Roshon Fegan), the leader of the reigning champs, the Step Brotherz, offers Jerry a spot on his crew and he eagerly joins. But when Smooth steals Jerry’s signature dance move for the competition, Jerry realizes he betrayed his friends. Meanwhile, Rudy and Marge host an infomercial for Pocket Ninja but Rudy messes up.

Kim is ecstatic when teen pop sensation Ricky Weaver shows up at the dojo to ask her to dance with him onstage at his upcoming concert. But after Ricky brags to Jack about his track record with girls, Jack tries to warn Kim about Ricky’s intentions. Kim eventually realizes what a jerk Ricky is and apologizes to Jack. Throughout the episode, you can tell that Jack and Kim have feelings for each other. Meanwhile, Rudy and the rest of the gang form a boy band called the “Black Belt Boys” and try to open for Ricky Weaver.

"Mad Rocks", an annual rock-oriented fashion show comes around with Lulu agreeing to plan the event but True knowing about Lulu's irresponsibilites in the past is reluctant to let her plan it herself. Her eavesdropping nearly deters the event from happening but tries to saves the day by bringing Jimmy's band Fire & Ice back together. Meanwhile, Max is on vacation, but he is still watching over the company with a camera helmet worn by Amanda.

Ben Vereen plays Will's long-lost father, who breezes into town and promises Will the moon, which angers an unforgiving Philip.

Shawn gets a dressing down from his younger brother when he horns in on Marlon's budding modeling career and winds up getting hired by a top designer.

When Bob has an accident, the kids must take care of him and Charlie while avoiding their mother.

A planned camping trip is cut short for Carlton and Will when a robber approaches them at an automated bank-teller machine - and fires a gun.

Will learns a sobering lesson after Carlton pops the wrong pills from Will's locker, mistaking amphetamines for vitamins, and winds up in hospital.

Monica becomes jealous of Phoebe and Gary. Rachel has an awkward encounter when she interviews for a new job. Joey tries to meet a girl living in Ross's building, but has trouble with finding her apartment.

Joey lands a job with a PBS telethon, which ignites an old hatred Phoebe has towards the network. Meanwhile, Monica tries to convince Rachel that she's dating someone from work to hide her relationship with Chandler. And Ross finally gets in touch with Emily and they try to work it out.

Will and Carlton lose their shirts investing on a tip - then take jobs as strippers to recoup their losses and get Vivian's bracelet out of hock.

Election results are in and Philip fights to remain cool amid lies by Judge Robertson, which prompt Will to confront the outspoken incumbent. Will Will go to far? Will he say what everyone is feeling? Will Judge Robertson be able to take it?

Depressed and suicidal over having ruined his chances of attending Princeton University, Carlton is visited by his Guardian Angel, who shows him how awful the Banks family would be if he weren't alive.
