    Kimberly's bed-hopping puts her life in danger when her latest conquest turns out to be Vic, a psychotic man who has made threatening calls to her radio show. He ties her up and holds her hostage in a condemned building. Shelly tries to cover her tracks, but Jake eventually learns that she has been embezzling from Shooters. She tries to stab Jake when he confronts her. Peter convinces Amanda to open up to him. She tells him that she loved a man before she met Jack, and was deeply hurt when he left her. Bobby follows Amanda for a few days before finally coming to her apartment. She is angry at first, but then embraces him. Jane creates problems between Richard and Jo after she begins dating Michael. Hayley suddenly decides to sell his house. He wakes Alison in the middle of the night and says they are taking a second honeymoon. Billy and Brooke move into Alison's old apartment.

    Kimberly collapses during an argument with Michael. She learns that she has an aneurysm, but refuses to undergo surgery. Megan (who has been hired as Burns/Mancini's receptionist) tries to use company money to pay for a private nurse. Michael accuses Kimberly of faking her illness, and arrives at the beach house to find her clinging to life. He calls her mother and suggests that she come to L.A. Matt is unable to track down Chelsea, but she later checks into a halfway house. Samantha convinces Chelsea to return home by sharing her own experiences as a runaway. Matt agrees to let Chelsea stay with him, although his mother doesn't feel that he is a fit parent because he is gay. Sam comes home from a date with Billy to find her father, who says he has been released from prison. Sydney meets Hilda's sleazy lawyer, Harry Dean, and begins to suspect that Hilda is faking her injuries.     Michael pulls out all the stops in an attempt to win back Megan. Brett fears that his plan is succeeding when Megan decides not to serve Michael with divorce papers until after Christmas. He arranges for the papers to be delivered on Christmas Eve. Jennifer blackmails Lexi into freeing Brett of his alimony obligations, then gets him to hand over his ""forged"" sketches of the cauterizer. A panicked Lexi overdoses. Jennifer severs her ties with Michael after learning that he did steal the idea for the invention. Taylor convinces longtime friend Jon Secada to perform a Christmas Eve concert to help make a balloon payment. After Kyle passes out drunk with the evening's proceeds beside him, Taylor hides the cash. She pretends that it was stolen, then talks Kyle into coming to Las Vegas with her to win back the money. Billy is forced to decorate with Connie when Sam has to work late. Connie constantly tries to undermine him, and makes a pass at him.
