Gon and Killua escape from Nobunaga. Killua tells Gon about Kurapika being the "chain user", they try to call him but get no answer. Neon runs away and is found by Chrollo Lucilfer who pretends to be friendly to get her prophecy. He helps her to sneak into the auction, then hits her unexpectedly and tells the security to call the emergency.

The Prince unexpectedly calls in at the Southern House's palace and finds his brother there. Meanwhile, Lady Shiratama puts a proposal to Lady Hamayu about an alliance of sorts between the Northern House and the Southern House.

JoJo's victory, along with his arm, is cut short when Kars manages to survive the volcano by forming a shield of air bubbles to protect him from its deadly lava.

The last test to get out of the tower has two paths: one is too long and the other will only allow three of the five to enter. Leorio and Tonpa start fighting to see who will stay, when Gon thinks outside the box. They choose the longer path, destroy the wall between the paths with axes provided so they could fight, and all five make it.

Jotaro is able to defeat Kakyoin. He takes the wounded Kakyoin back to his house, hoping to get some information about DIO.

Despite her feelings, after Gon catches it, Mito allows him to begin his adventure.

Speedwagon brings statued remains of Santana to the headquarters of his foundation in Washington, D.C., where it is shown Santana is still alive, but his scientists are able to keep him dormant through the use of ultraviolet light.

In an effort to save Polnareff, Abdul is injured by the enemy. Then J. Geil's Stand, Hanged Man attacks.

Seven years later in 1888, JoJo and Dio are supposedly getting along, though JoJo is still fearful of Dio. Meanwhile, Dio plots to liberate the Joestar family of their fortune.

Josuke manages to dodge the attack, but it hits Okuyasu right in the face. Josuke tells Okuyasu that he'll heal his wounds if he tells him what the identity of his brother's Stand is. Okuyasu says he has no itention of telling him, and Josuke does something surprising...

Josuke spots the terrible and violent villain Angelo's Stand, and tells Jotaro about that incident. Jotaro figures it's a Stand that can somehow enter people, so he warns Josuke to not eat or drink anything until he can get to him. Right when he's told that, Josuke witnesses the Stand go into his mother, and then does the unthinkable.

Rohan retells the story of a time he accidentally overheard a bone-chilling confession at a church in Venice.
