Tensions erupt in the final two days of the 35 leading to Ifan's murder.

Mabli mentions Heulyn's upcoming birthday. Lissie continues to meet Tom. Ifan signs the papers. Josh overhears a revealing conversation between Joy and Huw.

The Dolwen Farm siblings return to scatter their mother's ashes: Geraint with partner Gwenda and his daughter; Sara with her family; Nia on her own and troubled Ifan.

Huw accuses Tom of swindling money from Lissie. Dafydd takes action after Huw once again refuses that Sara rent the farm. Nia demands Tom repay his debt to her.

Family members continue to squabble over the contents of the will, while Ifan searches for his mother's diaries mentioned in it. Catrin and Josh become closer.

Nia continues to drink heavily, Dylan demands a divorce. Lissie finds Mair's rings in Tom's room. Joy goes into labor but Ifan is missing after meeting Huw.

Tom threatens Catrin and Josh. Ifan agrees to accept the land if it's divided between the siblings. Gwenda is injured in the cellar. Tension grows between Dafydd and Nia.

The siblings are having a debate. Tom demands his father ignore Mair's wishes about the land. Joy begins to doubt Ifan's version of the events which lead to Gwyndaf's death.

Drama following a woman who moves into a seemingly happy and content community, but is ultimately murdered by someone living close by. The series begins with Jan's death, before reverting back to the day she moves in, slowly leading viewers down the path to her mysterious death.

Huw is convinced that Jan is an undercover police officer, much to the annoyance of his wife Caroline. Gruff, meanwhile, becomes increasingly concerned about the prospect of a half-naked image of him appearing on the internet, and Richard and Sali continue to play little games within their soulless marriage. Richard pays more attention to his new neighbour, and Jack's 18th birthday party proves an ideal time for the residents to meet, mingle and fall out.

Betty pushes Ben to worm his way into Jan's house by starting a new relationship, but he expresses little interest. Meanwhile, Huw continues to worry about the drugs he has hidden in the woods and becomes convinced that Jan has moved onto the close just to spy on him.

Someone on the close dies unexpectedly and mourners gather to pay their respects. Meanwhile, Jan returns from her work trip and is shocked to discover her house has been broken into. As Richard and Sali's relationship continues to deteriorate, Jan plants more seeds of doubt in Cerian's mind.

Jan's neighbours make it clear they want her to leave the Close, and an unexpected visitor forces her to divulge more about her past than she is comfortable with. Meanwhile, Ben tries to persuade Beti to get help from a doctor following a bout of troubling behaviour.

Mark follows Jan to the Close, shedding more light on her background. Plus, her reasons for moving to the street are revealed.

Jan's inevitable fate creeps ever closer as tensions continue to mount on the close, and as further drama unfolds the identity of her killer remains unknown. However, a discovery made by Richard in the days leading up to the newcomer's death looks set to provide vital clues. Linda's life becomes increasingly complicated, and Huw finds himself contending with his disruptive wife and her troublesome brother Bobo, and Tony appears to rule himself out as a suspect after taking to his bed.

Jan's 35 days slowly come to an end, but it remains to be seen who will be responsible for her death. Other issues to come to the fore include what happened in Jan's car after Bobo's appearance and whether the latter has disappeared from the Close forever. Simon's body is lying on the pavement. 35 days ago, he and his wife Leslie along with his friends are enjoying a picnic. Chris's warehouse goes up in flames. Private Investigator Claire wins Ruth's praise for a successful sting op in a scam.

Claire's investigation into the warehouse fire continues. Chris and Hazel are at each others throats and are increasingly suspicious of each other.

Danny is worried about Claire's investigation and seeks Simon's advice on how to conduct himself in a second interview.

Suspended Jeff informs Claire that Simon is in cahoots with Danny. Helen is becoming increasingly obsessed with Ruth and finally oversteps the mark.

Ruth is wracked with guilt about ending her mother’s life. Katie moves back in with Charlie when she realizes that Charlie has some information about Alun.

Fran learns that Jeff's body has been pulled out of the river. Tim and Claire are revealed to have a history. She tells him that Ruth has asked for a report on them.

Claire warns Hazel to stay away from Tudor. Elfyn gives Ruth some unwelcome news about Tim. And Martin encourages Leslie to sue for divorce to make things difficult for Simon.

By now there are numerous people with motives to murder Simon and they’re all present at Ruth's leaving party, which is being held at the Unit. Someone is responsible.
