But when Vaughn disrupts the timeline by stealing an object from the past, Josie returns to the present to see that Blake Holsey has drastically changed. Marshall is sick, feverish, and to make matters worse he uses all of his spare time working on a new money making scheme. While he feels awful, his new venture, which was doing extremely well and making profits, bottoms out. Bizzarly, even the school develops symptoms of Marshall's infection. Some parts are too cold, others overheat, sneezes and coughs begin occurring from deep inside the school and a greenish slime extrudes from the interior, exactly like Marshall's symptoms. But why does it occur? And when will it stop?
