    Doğan, a successful surgeon in İzmir, is forced to return to his family, from whom he has been estranged for years, after a struggle in the emergency room. Coming to Istanbul for his sister's wedding, Doğan confronts past issues he thought he had left behind, finding himself in the middle of the power struggles within the Hancıoğlu family. On one side is the authoritarian father, Tahir, and on the other, his ambitious older brother, Sinan.
