After Jeremy attacks his mother, she decides to learn defensive training with the help of Roxy. Meanwhile, Pamela has no other choice but to take care of the twins she just gave birth to since their biological parents are out of town. Joan's erratic behavior causes concern for those around her.

After Birth

Trevor wants to adopt Roxy's sons but her ex refuses to sign the papers. Pamela decides to reveal the truth about the babies' birth and Denise has had enough with Jeremy's violent outbursts.

Roland finds a way to comfort Joan about her upcoming deployment. Roxy tries to impress the principal at an exclusive private school where she hopes Finn is accepted. Operation: Tango

Claudia Joy and Denise get into a car accident on their way to a spa weekend. Routine tests from the accident lead to a shocking diagnosis for Claudia Joy. Finn enjoys his first day at his new school, leaving TJ feeling left out so Trevor takes him on a fishing trip for some father-son bonding time. In Iraq, Jeremy is reminded of the importance of life when a fellow soldier is harmed.

First Response

Michael and Emmalin are puzzled when Claudia Joy informs them that she does not want her friends or anyone on post to find out about her medical condition. Trevor begins his work as an army recruiter and finds the job is more challenging than he initially thought. Two weeks after Chase was expected to return home, Pamela begins to wonder why he hasn't gotten in touch with her. Demanding answers, Pamela camps out in front of the building where she believes Chase is being treated for injuries.

Duty To Inform

Pamela finally gets the answers she's been seeking about Chase's whereabouts. Denise begins EMT training in an attempt to find a new career in the medical field. Jeremy is involved in an unexpected shooting in Iraq that has lasting impact. Roxy comes to a decision about having a baby with Trevor. Michael gives Claudia Joy a present, a gold medical bracelet, but Claudia Joy doesn't like it at first.

Need To Know Basis

When Roxy and Pamela meet two older army wives, Elise (guest-star Lois Smith) and Virginia (guest-star Barbara Barrier), in a nursing home, they get a glimpse into Fort Marshall during WWII. Elise and Virginia share their stories and relive their experiences through flashbacks. Roxy and Pamela discover the parallel challenges that army wives have dealt with throughout the years, while also seeing how society has evolved culturally.

While visiting a college campus with Emmalin, Claudia Joy runs into and old friend and begins to think about her own future. Roland prepares for Sara Elizabeth’s first birthday which he feels needs to be perfect for Joan, who will be watching the party by video chat. Pamela seeks information on how her life would be affected if she and Chase got a divorce. Denise gets a late night call of suspected domestic abuse.

As Claudia Joy as begins preparations for the annual mother's day brunch, Michael gets a visit from his aunt Edie and the reason for the unexpected visit comes as a shock to both Michael and Claudia Joy. Marisol Evans moves to Fort Marshall hiding a dangerous secret, When rumors of suspected domestic violence began to surface and the army wives hope to underscore the importance of getting some help in an abusive relationship . In order to keep her mind off of Chase, Pamela and Claudia Joy help organize a USO concert. While still in Afghanistan Joan does her best to keep morale very high over there while the rebuilding of schools some of continues.

Evasive Maneuvers

Chase returns home and appears to be making an effort in reprioritizing his life with Pamela and the kids. Claudia Joy, eager to finish her law degree, has an interview with Alex Miller, the Dean of Admissions at Carolina Law School. Denise is faced with a difficult choice in regard to Jeremy.

Heavy Losses

Joan is very anxious to return home after rebuilding schools in Iraq she hopes the news she will receive will be orders that she will be allowed to go back with her unit before she got injured. A broken leg could end Emmalin's dreams of being a professional hockey player. Pamela and Chase take the steps to change something in their marriage after their children began to sense that that thing is very bad.

Over and Out

Denise and Frank help babysit Sarah Elizabeth while her parents are going for a bike ride. Frank suddenly remembers what raising a baby can be like.

Pamela must adjust to life without the base privileges and realizes that without those privileges things are a lot harder to get.

After looking at her grades for the recent exam she took Claudia joy becomes part of the study group that will hopefully help her argue all issues of the law instead of one side.

Roxy and Trevor are trying to conceive but aren't having much luck. Roxy finally figure's out what may be the reason behind her inability to conceive, Trevor receives some news that will have an effect on whether Roxy and Trevor can have a baby right away.

An advocacy lawyer's case against the army puts Claudia Joy and Michael in a place they've never been - on different sides of the army. Now that Denise is expecting Jeremy helps her with chores around the house. Pamela has a new job

Trial & Error

Everyone on post is on high alert as Fort Marshall is on its 99th day without a fatality. Joan finally goes to the doctor and learns what is causing her symptoms. Denise is moved to dispatch duty at work and enlists Pamela’s help to locate a caller in trouble. Trevor proves his leadership skills and gains the trust of the new men under his command, including Jeremy.

Safety First

Pamela has doubts about Chase's new female neighbor. When Emmalin gets disappointing news about the recovery of her knee, Michael steps in to help. TJ is having a tough time at home, so Trevor appoints him man of the house but the gesture backfires on the family. Unexpected orders come down from the Pentagon that affects everyone at Fort Marshall.

The tribe adjusts to a "new normal" around Fort Marshall with most of the soldiers deployed. When Roxy sees a female solider get handcuffed and taken away from her daughter she asks Claudia Joy to look into the situation, as the head of the FRG. Claudia Joy learns that the soldier went AWOL and missed her deployment but that Grant Chandler (Guest star Harry Hamlin) has taken the case hoping to take the Army to trial. In Afghanistan, Jeremy is smitten by a nurse after they both attend a group therapy session. Featuring guest star Harry Hamlin.

AWOL

Emmalin gets permission to return to the ice and meets a new friend who helps her make a highlight video to college coaches. Joan gets clearance from her doctor’s to spend her first full day alone with Sarah Elizabeth. Pamela finds herself participating in a speed dating event at the Hump Bar. In the homestretch of her pregnancy, Denise is uncomfortable and unable to sleep due to the stress of Frank and Jeremy being overseas.

Hearts & Minds

Dr. Jill Biden visits Fort Marshall to kick off the post’s annual “Fun Run,” a road race and obstacle course for the local community and post families, in support of a summer camp for children of military families. While on post, Dr. Biden also visits with military spouses to discuss some of the challenges their families face on a daily basis while their loved ones are deployed. Denise’s sisters, Beth and Suzanne, come for a visit and Denise finds herself in the middle of their constant bickering. Trevor’s unit finds itself in a dangerous situation. Chase works through his issues in therapy with the help of Roland.

Mud, Sweat & Tears

Pamela becomes involved in a murder case and is tasked with accompanying an out-of-town detective (Gabrielle Union) around Charleston. Elsewhere, Michael informs Claudia Joy he won't be in contact for several days because of a mission.

Murder in Charleston

As Emmalin prepares to graduate from high school, Claudia Joy receives potentially devastating news. Pamela gets an unexpected call from Gina which leads her to question her future. Joan gets good news about her health. During an intense phone call with Jeremy, Denise goes into labor.

Forward March

Denise is about to meet her daughter-in-law but things don't go smoothly. Denise is meeting with Tonya gets off to a rocky start because Molly isn't feeling too well. They meet again for the second time Tonya doesn't trust Denise is medical training and isn't sure the diagnosis of colic isn't the right one for Molly. Emmalin goes to college while Frank, Michael, Trevor, and Jeremy are all in Afghanistan fighting the war.

Line of Departure

Pamela makes a decision on whether to join the Atlanta PD or stay at fort Marshall as an army war wife. And Claudia joy graduates law school Professor Chandler offers her a job at a law firm. Joan tackles a new job and deals with the stresses of that. Roland tries to see if he can find time for his wife in her busy schedule.

Claudia Joy begins her first day working an associate to professor chandler in his law firm, but today takes an unexpected turn planned Claudia Joy is yelled at. Roxy feels that Pamela may not want to be friends with her anymore. Roland and Joan have to figure out where their daughter will go for preschool. A wedding shower is planned for Jeremy's fiancée Tonya.

Nicole is busy trying to find a peaceful resolution for the conflict in Narubu but trying to stop the fighting in that country proves to be a little bit too dangerous for her as they prepared to leave the country.

Non-Combatants

Denise notices a change in Frank after returning home from Africa and it begins to worry about his mood change. Jackie may regret taking over the duties of running the family readiness group duties by herself after wondering if she took on too much. Roxy and Trevor help a new family on the base with their money troubles. Tonya feels uncomfortable after bumping into Dr. Hansen while they were both in Africa and shared a kiss together.

After Action Report

Roland meets a man, Marcus, who claims to be David's biological father. Michael investigates the incident at the orphanage in Africa. Jackie sinks deeper into her prescription pill addiction. The tribe rallies to help Jackie. Kevin reveals that Michael's investigation exonerated the 32nd, but Frank remains haunted by the orphans.

Fallout

Denise offers C.J. her kidney, but Frank thinks it's too risky. Meanwhile, Roland and Joan meet with C.J. to discuss the legal issues surrounding David's biological father; and Hector tells Gloria she should quit work because he doesn't like her flirting with customers.
