The inaugural film in a brand new Small Town Monsters original series kicks off! Join adventurer, filmmaker and Bigfoot researcher, Aleksandar Petakov on the trail of the legendary Bigfoot. In this first film, Aleksandar interviews investigators and witnesses alike about Sasquatch sightings in the state of New Hampshire. Having experienced something truly unexplained for himself, Aleksandar sets out to see if he can duplicate an experience that he had during a late-night encounter with what might very well be a Bigfoot. Beyond the Trail takes you into the backcountry of America in search of Bigfoot. Aleksandar Petakov journeys to the most forested state in the lower 48 in search of evidence of the creatures existence. Investigators Aleks and Eli travel from San Francisco to Humboldt county, through the redwoods and into the little town of Willow Creek, self proclaimed Bigfoot capital of the world, to investigate recent Bigfoot activity on a property with Animal Planets Finding Bigfoot star James “Bobo” Fay. After this they venture to the remote Bluff Creek area, where in the 1950’s logging crews discovered strange prints that would later be dubbed “Bigfoot”. They investigate this historic area with the Bluff Creek Project, as well as spend a night at the famed Patterson-Gimlin Film Site nearby. They experience seemingly inexplicable events while in this rugged wilderness.
