Ninja Hikage is ordered by his clan to track down and kill his best friend Marou, who betrayed them. The quest takes Hikage to a strange happy village where no one remembers their past.

Hikage rescues Aya, a fellow ninja who joins him on his quest. Hikage learns that Marou is about to become the leader of a demon army that will swallow the world unless he can stop him.
