The news confronts her with the guilt she feels for having survived and propels her to make a decision that will change her life.

It's 2008. Malena faces the difficult decision of testifying in the Cromañón trial and reconnects with an important object she had lost during the concert. The emotional shock triggers memories from the days before the fire. In 2004, she auditions as a guitarist for Los Peces Chinos — her neighborhood friends' band — and also grapples with guilt over a forbidden kiss.

In 2004, Nico and Lucas get into a fight, Luli receives unexpected news, and Bichito experiences an uncomfortable moment with Javier. Back in the present, an old friend gives Malena revealing information about Nico.
