Brother Carlos, a Christian exorcist, tells the story of a doctor who bought a cursed object while traveling to Egypt and sought out an exorcism to rid him of the curse.

Strange things start to happen in the house, which carry on into Victor s adult life. The "Crying Boy" painting is a famous work of art that is said to cause the home it is in to burn to the ground; everything is destroyed except the painting. Richard innocently puts on a welding mask while at a friend s house and unknowingly opens a door for the spirit of its dead owner to haunt and terrorize him.
