Up against the Eggheada are a team named 'The Biscuit Fan Club'. Their name is inspired by team capatain Andy's cat, who happens to be named 'Biscuit'.

Taking on our awesome quiz champions for a second time are Mrs Clarke's Boys from Cheshire, who met while quizzing on rival teams at the Limes in Sandbach.

Hoping to wipe the smiles off the Eggheads' faces today are the Clubturns. This team of friends met on the entertainment circuit, performing in Northern clubs.

Hoping to scramble the Eggheads today are the Lady Ratlings, who are all members of The Grand Order of Lady Ratlings, an organisation for showbusiness professionals.

Hoping they've got all the answers today are the Tim Gyda I, who met through the Online Quiz League. They recently won division two and have now moved up to division one.

Clashing against the titans of quiz today are the No Hopers. They do a lot of quizzing together and their team name comes from an old sea shanty called No Hopers, Jokers and Rogues.

Episode 5

Today's challengers are Steggle's Stans, who met while studying Computer Science at Newcastle University and named their team after their favourite lecturer Dr Steggle.

Hoping to sink our quizzing giants today are Off the Piste, a friends and family team who share a passion for skiing who regularly hit the slopes together on foreign trips.

Hoping to vanquish our brainy behemoths today are Quality of Mercians, who met quizzing online. Their name comes from the ancient area of Mercia where they all live.

Challenging the might of the quiz goliaths today are the Fine Young Bramptonians. Paul, Stewart and Chris regularly quiz at a pub in Brampton, where Shannon used to tend the bar.

Eggheads is a BBC quiz show which pits a team of five "Eggheads" against a series of teams of five "challengers" who in each episode attempt to beat the Eggheads through a series of rounds.

The program was first broadcast in 2003, and co-presented by Dermot Murnaghan and Jeremy Vine. For the 2008 series, Jeremy Vine was brought in to present on nights when Murnaghan was hosting the spinoff series Are You an Egghead?. This happened again from October 2009 while Murnaghan presented the second series of the spinoff show. Since the spin-off show finished, Jeremy Vine has continued to host the second half of each series, which broadcasts 52 weeks a year. Episodes generally air weekdays.
