Elvis arranges an unexpected birthday surprise for Vanessa. Pernilla resumes her friendship with Johanna and invites her to dinner. Meanwhile, everyone is surprised by the result of the autopsy.

When Johanna's mother dies, she goes home to Hammarvik to arrange the funeral. In the city, they have found a car that belonged to Johanna's best friend Madelene, who took her life 18 years ago.

Vanessa goes to great lengths to get attention on social media, which worries Pernilla. Nettan discovers a corpse in the water, and the investigation takes a new turn.

Vanessa is in the hospital after the assault. Johanna interrogates her if she knows who was behind it and everything now points to one and the same person. Danne and Pernilla decide to break up and divorce.

André's sister Anastasia unexpectedly shows up in Hammarvik. New clues force Johanna to confront Pernilla, while Carl tries to convince her to sell the house.

Carl makes a plan to get rid of his sister once and for all. Johanna digs further into the case of Minna Kopponen, and soon discovers that she had a secret relationship with someone in Hammarvik.

Pernilla has returned home from her trip to Paris and wants to meet Danne, who has something to tell her. André can no longer stand Anastasia and their quarrel becomes more intense.

Pernilla and Danne talk about how to handle their relationship when Danne is expecting a child with someone else. André discovers in the evidence room that the call list on Anastasia phone has been deleted.

André has disappeared without a trace and now Johanna and Christian receive unexpected help from Nettan in the investigation. The questions pile up about who it really is behind all the murders in Hammarvik.

Carl holds a press conference and calls the investigation a legal scandal. Louise has thus lost the investigation. At the same time, Pernilla has been released, has Danne family now found each other?

The inauguration of Balder bar is in full swing and Ruben and Stephanie perform their new song, which makes Leyla jealous. Christian helps Johanna to spy on the liquor smugglers and there they see Madelene.

Johanna interrogates Madelene at night when she drove on Minna. Leyla and Ruben prepare for the gig at Felicias. After an argument, Danne moves in with Tony and Nettan, something that is not received with joy.

Madelene visits Ingrid and asks for forgiveness. At the same time, Johanna is faced with a difficult situation over having to betray Danne confidence in order to move forward in the investigation.

Johanna tells Christian that Stephanie has disappeared and together they set out to search for her, while André shadows the liquor smugglers in the harbor.

Alex moves in with Pernilla, who asks Dannie to help hide Tomas’s body. Carl and Louise’s friend Claudia move to Hammarvik, and drama ensues when the kids start school and Claudia takes over Birkapassagen.

Pernilla is interrogated by Johanna and tells her version of what happened on the night of the murder. Ruben and Stephanie continue to work with their music, something that is not seen lightly by Leyla.

Johanna begins to go through the East's investigation and realizes that Madelene has been in Sweden longer than she previously said. Louise makes a shocking discovery just before the trial against Pernilla begins.

Sofi is found dead in Ruben's hotel room and the new police officer Alex investigates the matter. Leyla is devastated. Nettan and Tony want Anki to disappear. Totte is tired of Louise. Madelene is terrified of Tomas' arrival.

Madelene thinks she's being persecuted. Louise takes over André and Totte's wedding. Nettan receives an unwelcome visit. Stephanie and Ruben's graduation party ends in chaos.
