After almost ten years of marriage, the Gosselin family has expanded from two to ten! When the Gosselins expanded from a family of four to a family of ten, it's no surprise that the amount of stuff they needed multiplied as well. Jon and Kate have realized how much they've accumulated over the last four years and have decided it's time to clean house and hold a Gosselin-sized yard sale! From strollers to toys to clothes and shoes, Jon and Kate aim to sell everything and give all the proceeds to a charitable cause, since so much was given to them.

With such a large family, Jon and Kate always plan for ways to save money and time. Kate often sets aside a whole day to make multiple meals that she can freeze and use in the future. On this day, she plans to make lots of soup for the upcoming winter season, but the day doesn't quite go as she expected. Additionally, Jon and Kate have some exciting news to share with the kids that will affect the whole family!

It's the day Jon and Kate have been anticipating - Moving Day! After lots of planning and preparation, the Gosselin clan finally packs up and moves to a more spacious home. Jon and Kate say goodbye to the house where their children spent most of their young lives, and the family embarks on a new chapter of life. But they must first get there. Can they pull off such a large move with little conflict, or will the immensity of moving a family of ten, increase the usual stress and frustration associated with moving?

The third season premiere starts off with the twins in first grade, Jon at work and Kate at home the six.

Kate begins looking for a well-qualified nanny to take care of her 3 year old sextuplets and 7-year-old twins. While Jon stays home with all the kids, Kate hopes that after a day of interviewing she will be able to find the perfect nanny.

Jon and Kate talk about their parenting techniques based on their experiences for the last seven and a half years.

When Kate heads out of town for a few days, Jon must carry the load for the both of them! Acting as two parents, Jon finds himself challenged by things that he never considered before such as how to get eight kids to school on time! While Kate's away, Jon gets to do things his way, but will he be able to survive without Kate's help or will he come out of this experience with a new-found appreciation for his wife?

Jon and Kate are heading west, far west, and they're bringing all eight kids along to see the beauty of Hawaii and to be a part of their vow renewal! But before they leave for the land of sun, there's much to be done! The couple must prepare for the farthest trip West their family has ever taken. In addition to packing for a family ten, Kate must also find the perfect dress for the renewal of vows ceremony.

Jon takes the boys golfing for a boys day out, while the twins are in school and Kate takes the little girls grocery shopping to buy ingredients for a special snack, Monkey Munch.

The Gosselin German Shepherd puppies, Nala and Shooka, are growing rapidly. Though they hardly resemble puppies anymore, they're still as curious as can be! But too much curiosity causes an unexpected visit to the vet for one of them. How will the family handle this scare with one of the new family members?

How do Jon and Kate manage Christmas with 8 kids? Well, their holiday season begins with Christmas caroling! After baking cookies together as a family, all 10 Gosselins get dressed up in their holiday outfits and visit special friends who have helped them.

After a fun-filled summer, the Gosselins are back to normal life. As usual, Jon and Kate prepare for the twins to head back to school, but this year they also must prepare as the sextuplets start their first year of pre-school! There's lots to do as they ready all eight kids to head to school for the first time in Gosselin history! Will Jon and Kate be able to keep up with all there is to be done?

When a church in California asks the Gosselins to speak to their congregation, Jon and Kate jump at the chance to get out of Pennsylvania. But the logistics of a cross country trip, from drafting a will to packing up all eight kids, proves challenging.

With winter approaching, Kate struggles to find room in the house for the kids to play. After a well thought out shopping trip and some help from handyman Jon, Kate re-organizes the entire house to give the kids more space to play.

Jon and Kate take Alexis to a reptile museum where she gets to spend time with and pet real live alligators. Her favorite! Then, Jon takes Collin, who is fascinated by trains to the Strasburg Train Museum

Cara and Maddy narrate this episode, in which they show viewers games that the family play together, with the twins in the lead for most games.

The twins are excited when Jon and Kate give them an opportunity to be a mommy to the sextuplets for an entire day. But as they try to guide, feed, and instruct their younger siblings, they soon learn that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Can Mady and Cara work together and keep the little kids under control, or will there be chaos and meltdowns from both sides? Jon and Kate have successfully moved themselves and their brood to a new, more spacious house. Although the big move is over, there's lots of work to be done!
