Elsewhere, Danny and Mike feverishly work to reclaim $100,000 stolen from the casino by a cunning thief. Once the thief's identity is revealed, Danny concocts a clever scheme to make good on the money before Ed discovers the truth. Meanwhile, Joe Rogan visits the casino in search of a little R & R. Sam , Delinda and Nessa who are desperate to be contestants on Joe's show, compete with each other for his attention.

But convincing Danny and the gang proves to be difficult since each has his or her reasons for leaving, and what's more, Ed suspects two construction hard-hats are planning an inside robbery once the Montecito's doors swing open again amid much fanfare.

A CSI believes it could be the body of Seymour "Blue Jaw" Magoon, a member of a 40s gang called Murder Inc. Mike helps a couple who's "stuck" together. Jake seems to still be in Mary's life. Mike is still helping Danny to find information on the woman his father was dating before he died.
