The three married couples first met at their wedding three weeks ago. Psychologist, Dr. Joseph Cilona, spends time with the couples helping them to communicate effectively together, open up with each other and constructively resolve their conflicts. Neil struggles with the adjustment of living with Samantha and her roommate; Vanessa struggles with fears of abandonment and Tres learns more about Vanessa from her mom; Ashley finally reveals her true feelings to David.

The experiment is almost over for the couples who married as strangers. Tres and Vanessa's romantic trip away takes an unexpected turn and is cut short.
