Molang and Piu Piu lead a pleasant and quiet life in the shelter of a tree. But one day, a mammoth crashes, head down, into their tree which falls over with a terrible noise.

Washed up on an island, Molang and Piu Piu discover an inhabited fort with many Piu Pius. When they welcome Piu Piu with open arms, they don't want to know Molang or any of their other friends, whom they consider their enemies.

On a hike in the mountains, Piu Piu falls into a crevasse and finds a creature frozen in a block of ice. They bring it back home and the block of ice melts, revealing a genuine knight.
