Mother and daughter Lesley and Tuesday follow a strict routine of scrubbing, bleaching and dusting, so single mum Sonia, from Farnham in Surrey, could do with their help tackling 20 years' worth of clutter - some of which is preventing her from shutting her bathroom door. Meanwhile, gym owner Vinny, from Sheffield, heads to Margate in Kent, where Robin shares his filthy home with six dogs.

Alison, from Stamworth, Lincolnshire was diagnosed with OCD six years ago and spends more than 30 hours a week keeping her five bedroom home spotless. She makes her way to Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, to help Dusty Rhodes. Helen, from East Sussex attempts to help Janet, from Luton, whose passion for haberdashery has taken over the house.

London hairdresser Claire, who spends 22 hours a week keeping her one-bedroom flat immaculate, helps out 67-year-old ex-binman Charlie from Hemel Hempstead, who's down to his last clean teaspoon. Andy from Leicester, who likes to clean things in even numbers, meets keen historian and collector Ian, from Colchester, whose two-bedroom house is home to 300 troll dolls.

Gemma, from Hertfordshire, cleans for 12 hours a week to keep her two-bed house immaculate, going through two vacuum cleaners a year. Gemma meets Jim, a father of two from Kent, whose love of car boot fairs has left him with a hoard of over10 tonnes of things, including a lot of women's clothing - collected because of Jim's other hobby, cross dressing. The second volunteer is Angie, from Hampshire, who mops the floor of her three bedroom bungalow in Hampshire, on her knees, twice a day. Angie meets widower Brian at his house in Kent, which is also an owl sanctuary and home to 37 owls. Brian's traditional view of cleaning being 'woman's work' is set to be challenged by Angie, if she can overcome her bird phobia first.

Caren, from Warrington, cleans for at least four hours a day and her cat is only allowed outside on a lead. Caren meets Linda and her son Matt, who have being living amongst grime for nine years and have out-of-date food from the 1990s. The second volunteer is OCD-diagnosed Jamie, from Somerset, who can't stand any form of clutter, uses so much bleach it burns his eyes and must check the door 16 times before he leaves home. Jamie meets Mick, from North London, who lives in a one bed flat filled with clutter and grime. But getting Mick to let go of his precious belongings is not going to be straightforward.

Claire can't abide dirt and won't use her cooker to cook. She meets Sue and Roger, two pensioners from Hertfordshire who once lived the rock and roll lifestyle and are now swamped by clutter. Lynne from Luton takes an old-school approach to cleaning. She visits the home of self-confessed bachelor boys Mark and Karl, two football loving buddies who haven't cleaned their house in over 15 years.

The first cleaning volunteer is 23-year-old council worker Dann, from Nottingham. Dann replaces his loo seat once a month and regularly bathes his cats in flea treatment. Dann helps out Charlotte and Dom, from Portsmouth, who haven't cleaned their flat in a year. The second volunteer is Angela, from Nottingham, who gets through three bottles of bleach a week. Angela meets Lorraine, from Scarborough, who hasn't cleaned her kitchen for two years. And OCD-diagnosed Alison takes on Helen to see who has the most spotless kitchen cupboards.

Amanda from Essex not only works 60 hours a week, but the 31-year-old also spends 20 hours a week on housework. Amanda meets Janine, also from Essex, who is a bit of a hoarder. Full time industrial cleaner Mark, from Leicester, spends more than 80 hours a week cleaning at work and home and has an obsession for colour coordination. He meets 58-year-old unemployed bargain hunter Avril, in Chiswick.

Andy from Reigate, who weeds his patio daily, helps Hayley, who hasn't cleaned her microwave since the 90s. And garden designer Charlie helps Antoinette in Dorset with her clutter.

Glamour model Kerry from Essex helps fellow Essex mum Vikki, whose toilet hasn't been cleaned in four years. And Tina from Slough helps Mike from Ipswich with his junk-filled home.

OCD-diagnosed Carly spends up to seven hours a day cleaning her two bedroom flat. She Nesta from Staffordshire, who allows animals the run of her house. Rob cleans his house up to 30 times a day and attempts to help widow Soo and her son Joe, who have amassed a collection of charity shop bargains.

Medical scientist Kris spends over 22 hours a week keeping his three bedroom home in Wakefield germ free and he attempts to help single mum Edwina and her teenage daughter Natalie in Derby who haven't deep cleaned their house since they moved in nearly a ten years ago. TOCD diagnosed 41-year-old beauty therapist Fiona from Bedford attempts to help married couple Jenny and Paul in Surrey, whose three bedroom house has become overwhelmed with clothes, toys and games.

Gemma, who makes her Chihuahuas wear boots indoors, helps single mum Annia, a self-confessed hoarder in Norwich. And Dai meets Michelle and her menagerie.

Yorkshire-based bank employee Tracey rises at 5am each day to start her cleaning routine. She travels to Norfolk to help charity worker Kerry, who lives in a three bedroom house with a family of foster dogs from Romania. Plus, full-time mum Shelley comes to the aid of amateur inventor Lee, who has filled his house with items collected from back streets and skips

Plumber Julie, whose loo is so clean you can drink from it, helps Ken in Norfolk. And full-time mum Krystal meets April, whose home has become swamped by clutter.

Former beauty queen Kelly helps retired chef Ken and his cat. And Louise meets Jose, who's hoarded so much stuff for his DIY projects he hasn't been in his living room for five years.

Michelle, who loves minimalism and order, meets clutterbug Susanne. And steam clean lover Amar visits hoarder poet Sylvia in south east London.

The first cleaner is cafe owner Sandra, who hates dirt and germs so much that she forbids outside clothes to be worn indoors. Sandra helps Karl, who lives an alternative lifestyle on a boat in Norfolk with his dog Cooper. With a stinking toilet and a galley filled with mouldy pans, Sandra faces the biggest cleaning job of her life. The second volunteer cleaner is Maxine, who hates clutter and spends up to four hours each day keeping her home looking pristine. Maxine meets retired librarian Dianne, who lives in a house in Norwich which she hasn't cleaned in three years. Dianne's kitchen is so bad, she eats breakfast in a cafe opposite. And Hayley and her fellow cleaners tackle some disgusting showers.

Tom visits Gareth, whose home hasn't been cleaned in 20 years. And Louise meets Paula in her chaotic Wokingham home.

Professional motorbike cleaner Dave, from Surrey, spends up to three hours a day keeping his one bedroom flat immaculate. Straight lines are very important to Dave, so he straightens his towels and curtains regularly. Dave meets hoarder Les, who lives with a mountain of car boot purchases and junk in the West Midlands. And Hayley and the team clean some microwaves.
