Nothing is going well in Joseph's life. His marriage to Marie is running out of steam: it is obvious that he is no longer attracted to his wife who is in despair. At work, it's not better. While shopping, Joseph bumps into his upset friend Sylvie. She suspects her husband Stéphane is having an affair.

Episode 3

Joseph is now sure that his wife is cheating on him with Stéphane but prefers to feign ignorance. The gold buyer turns out to be a thug and begins to take a closer interest in Joseph, who has decided to hide his gold turds rather than sell them to him.
