The seven expert pumpkin carvers' first challenge is to master the classic Halloween jack-o'-lantern and feature a dynamic use of light. In the Quick Carve round, the competitors must depict the struggle between good and evil. For the Big Carve round, each competitor is given one of the seven deadly sins to inspire their truly horrifying creation.

7 Deadly Jack-o'-Lanterns

In the Quick Carve round, the remaining six competitors have to create frightening science experiments gone horribly wrong! Things literally heat up in the Big Carve round as the carvers must incorporate an element of fire in a 3-D diorama depicting pumpkin trick-or-treaters.

Trick-or-Treating Nightmare

In the pet cemetery-themed Quick Carve round, the competitors feature animals returning from the dead, and their structures must be at least two pumpkins tall and include everything from stem to seed. For the Big Carve round, the carvers create enormous prehistoric animals, and wind, rain and snow make the challenge extra difficult.

Zombie Beasts

In the final challenge, host Alyson Hannigan tasks the remaining four pumpkin carvers with their most-monstrous carves yet. For the Quick Carve round, they have to create a terrifying monster-in-law. In the Big Carve round, they have to make a 5-foot-tall monster bash scene using Atlantic Giant pumpkins weighing in at over 1,000 pounds each! Judges Terri Hardin and Ray Villafane decide which monster is the life of the pumpkin party and which carver takes home the $25,000 prize.

Giant Monster Bash

Host Alyson Hannigan gives the seven carvers their first challenge in the outdoor pumpkin arena: Turn three pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns depicting a cursed nursery rhyme. Then the stakes are raised with a minimum of five pumpkins needed to create a terrifying jack-o'-lantern display depicting what lies beneath the ocean. Judges Marc Evan and Terri Hardin pick their favorites, and one competitor is sent packing.

Jack-o-Lantern Face-Off

Host Alyson Hannigan challenges the six carvers to depict a flavor reaction -- salty, sweet, sour or spicy -- with detailed 3-D face sculpting. Then they get to flex their imagination as they create a gigantic Halloween feast for a special guest of honor. From 3-D frog brains to pumpkin pepperoni pizza, judges Marc Evan and Terri Hardin have their work cut out for them to decide who goes home and who remains to fight for the title of Outrageous Pumpkins Champion.

Hungry Hungry Pumpkins

The five carvers are challenged to create out-of-this-world structures and sky-high alien encounters using at least two stacked pumpkins. Then host Alyson Hannigan tasks the competitors with using at least 15 pumpkins to create an epic monster ride. Judges Marc Evan and Terri Hardin send one carver cruising home while four elite carvers head to the finale.

Out Of This World

In the finale, host Alyson Hannigan challenges the remaining four carvers to create a hero who has 30 seconds to save the world from doomsday. Then they must incorporate their hero into a 5-foot-tall scene depicting the end of the world and featuring world-famous Atlantic Giant pumpkins. Judges Marc Evan and Terri Hardin decide which carver is crowned Outrageous Pumpkins Champion and takes home the $25,000 prize.

30 Seconds To Doomsday

Host Sunny Anderson asks seven carvers to create massive jack-o'-lanterns that tell a ghost story. Then, each carver must create four nesting jack-o'-lanterns that are just as enchanting on their own as they are when they come together. Judges Paul Dever and Terri Hardin send one carver packing while the rest continue on their journey for the title of Outrageous Pumpkins Champion.

Giant Jacks

Each of the six carvers sculpt a 3D zombie in their likeness, complete with accessories that reflect their personality; the first team challenge requires creating a giant haunted house using a minimum of 15 pumpkins.

Scary Sculpting

It's 3-D carving time, and host Sunny Anderson has a set of challenges that will make even the undead feel alive! First, each carver must sculpt a 3-D zombie in their likeness, complete with accessories that reflect their personality. Then, Sunny presents the carvers with a team challenge: creating a giant haunted house using a minimum of 15 pumpkins. It's up to judges Paul Dever and Terri Hardin to crown a winning team and determine which member of the bottom team goes home.

Sky-High Scares

The final four carvers battle it out to earn the title of Outrageous Pumpkins Champion. First, Sunny Anderson challenges them to create a larger-than-life children's toy with a creepy spin. Then, the carvers must go all out with a sinister depiction of a popular playground pastime. Special guest Maneet Chauhan joins judges Paul Dever and Terri Hardin to decide which carver takes home the grand prize.

Eight elite pumpkin carvers begin their journey to become the next Outrageous Pumpkins Champion. Host Damaris Phillips starts off with a challenge to create the best porch display in the neighborhood so they can show off their artistic point of view for judges Ralph Attanasia and Terri Harden.

Welcome to the Pumpkin Patch

Host Damaris Phillips is all about everyone's favorite Halloween decoration, the jack-o'-lantern, so she tasks the carvers with creating topsy-turvy, gravity-defying stacks of jacks. Then in the Big Carve, the competitors must impress judges Ralph Attanasia and Terri Hardin with a spooky jack-o'-lantern skeletal structure to stay safe from elimination.

Halfway to pumpkin carving glory, host Damaris Phillips ramps up the competition by challenging the carvers with 3D pop culture pumpkins! They put their best foot forward creating 3D sculptures that highlight iconic fashion eras before bringing common literary phrases with a deadly twist to life for judges Ralph Attanasia and Terri Hardin.

The final five carvers pull out all the stops when host Damaris Phillips challenges them create their own superhero and superpower. Then, things get supersized in the Big Carve when the competitors depict a scene of the one and only DC's Batman facing off against one of his iconic enemies to save Gotham City and judges Ralph Attanasia and Terri Hardin.

It's the grand finale, and the final four carvers must impress judges Ralph Attanasia and Terri Hardin in two rounds to win $25,000 and the coveted prize belt. Host Damaris Phillips tasks them with creating the winning monster entry in the Miss/Mr. Underworld Pageant, complete with pageant talent. Then, it's time for giants on parade as the competitors transform 2,000-lb Atlantic Giant pumpkins into a spooktacular Halloween parade float.

Host Damaris Phillips teams up 14 of the world's top carvers to compete in an epic battle of creating larger-than-life masterpieces that defy imagination. The carvers pursue their dreams by bringing terrifying nightmares to life: being chased, losing teeth, falling, naked in public, feeling lost, being trapped and bugs on you.  Impressing the panel of elite judges, Imagineer Terri Hardin and world-renowned pumpkin sculptor Deane Arnold, will put the teams one step closer to the title of All-Stars Champion and a whopping $50,000 prize. 

All Stars: Haunted Halloween Nightmares

Host Damaris Phillips invites veteran judge Terri Hardin and guest judge Dan Langan to the patch in order to bear witness to a crime scene. She tasks each team of all-stars with carving a specific spooky crime location, a peccant perpetrator and a monstrous murder weapon. Fortunately for all, the Special Pumpkins Unit is on the case.

The all-stars competition heats up as host Damaris Phillips invites the remaining carvers into a mad scientist's lab, where they will create two horrifying hybrid beasts battling each other in an epic duel. The artists push their limits as they work to impress resident judge Terri Hardin and guest judge Kim Miles, interior designer extraordinaire, but a last-minute disaster forces one team to scramble with only seconds to go.

Host Damaris Phillips challenges the remaining teams to bring everything they've got to ensure their spot in the all-star grand finale. To move on, the teams create their own supernatural-themed stories, contend with another jarring jump scare and carve their way into the minds of veteran judge Terri Harden and special effects designer Anthony Kosar.

All Stars: Witches and Wizards and Warlocks, Oh My!

The final all-star teams looking to be named rulers of the pumpkin patch find out not every fairy tale has a happy ending as host Damaris Phillips tasks them with turning a classic children's story into a scary tale. Judges Terri Hardin, Dan Langan and Duff Goldman decide who lives happily ever after, earning one team the title of Outrageous Pumpkins All-Stars Champions, the hallowed prize belts and $50,000.
