After a brief altercation with The Soul Chaser Nick takes the wounded Jimmy back to the Legacy HQ with him, believing the Soul Chaser to have been killed by his own weapon. The Soul Chaser returns to our world though and tracks down the brothers. He launches an attack on the Legacy house to finally retrieve his quarry.

We begin with a priest, who has sent a young lad on a mission to find out information about the Legacy House. The young lad returns with news that a gate way to hell is buried under the Legacy House. The Priest then kills the lad, as he now has what he was after. The priest sets out to be-friend Alex and Rachel (Nick and Derek are not present in this episode). He makes his way into the House where he tells them that the Gateway must be sealed, if it is not, he tells them, Rachels daughter Kat will be killed as she has been struck down with a mysterious virus. As Alex and the Preist make their way underground, the Priest attacks Alex and proceeds to make his way to find the gate and open it. Upstairs, Rachel sees Kristen, who is now an angel, who has been sent to try to stop the opening of the gate. She instructs Rachel to go and stop the priest and to have faith, no matter what. As Rachel finds Alex, they both proceed to the gate, the Priest is about to open it when he notices Rache

Alex struggles to cure Nick, and has to keep him alive, after he is infected by a Denomic parasite which makes him see evil all around him. The episode begins with Alex working in the control room when Nick bursts in through the front door. He chases after Alex, trying to kill her. She manages to find a torch and smashes it off his head and knocks him out. She ties him to his bed. He wakes up and threatens to kill her, constantly shouting and screeming that he is going to kill Alex and shouting that he can see evil all around him. We learn that he has been infected by a demon who causes him to hallucinate. This leads Nick to remember events from the last year (evil events), in which he was hurt or people around him were hurt. As Nick remembers the past events, Alex researches the Legacy database and she realises that Nick has the Mephisto Strain. With the hepl of the Database, Alex finda a cure, which heals Nick.

Plagued by nightmares and visitations from his father's evil spirit, Derek fears that the portal to hell has been breached. The episode begins with Derek having nightmares of his father and evil spirits, (flashback from the Pilot episode). When he awakens he goes to the library, where all of the books and files are spread all over the room, alot of them are ripped. Derek notices a specific scripture has been destroyed, which leads him to believe that the gate of hell has been breached, which is located under the Legacy House. Derek, Nick and Alex make their under the house to investigate, but everything seems fine. However, Derek is still cautious and takes precautions, he wants Nick to get as much C4 explosives as he can find. Throughout the rest of the day, Derek keeps on having visions about his eveil father.
