Fifty years ago, malevolent stones known as Dark Brings brought about the "Overdrive," a calamitous event that destroyed one-tenth of the world. In the present day, the nefarious organization Demon Card seeks the Dark Brings' power for their all but innocent intentions. Haru Glory, a sword-wielding silver-haired teenager, inherits the title of Rave Master: the person who wields the power of the legendary Rave Stones, artifacts capable of destroying the Dark Brings. However, the many Rave Stones were scattered across the globe as a result of the Overdrive, allowing Demon Card to continue their malpractices.

Instead of using Musica's flying airship (which would make lots of frigging sense) they decide to go via intercontinental train.At Blues station the train is late due to the big butt bandits.While Haru and Elie have fun at various places, Musica and Melodia remember past times and their relationship with each other. But Musica decides to rejoin Haru and the gang as the train leaves Blues Station early the next day. On board Haru remembers the great times he experienced with his friends and as more adventures await them just over the horizon.

Haru was about to accept until he found out that the enemy was led by his father. Meanwhile Musica found out the leaders of the city were just pretending to know where the Rave stone was, and Haru began attacking the mosters trying to draw out his father.

No one likes the acts they put on, till Plue steals the show with his little dance and trying to catch a butterfly. Money starts rolling in then. Their problems are solved. But........Musica must pay for his medical bill!!! Another show I suppose. ^^;;;In the meantime, Seig Hart is working on traveling to Symphonia too;the origin of the Rave.

Let explains that to get to Symphonia, one must pass through the Annihilation Storm using a tunned called the Emperor Gate, for a toll to pay. Later on, an air casino hovers over the airship, docking them inside. Haru, Elie, Musica, Let, Plue, and Griff enter the casino in formal attire. Unfortunately, the Big Butt Bandits are also aboard the air casino. Let notices a familiar crest symbol from a familiar group.. Musica and Griff are unable to get a sponsor to help pay for the toll. The Big Butt Bandits plan to marry three rich ladies in order to get rich quick. However, after the Rear Admiral reunites with Plue, he and the other bandits realizes they were going to marry for the sake of money, not love. Meanwhile, Ruby, a talking penguin, wants to capture Plue as a deposit for the Doryu Raid Squad.

It is revealed that the name of the Shadow Master is Lucia Raregroove, the son of Gale "King" Raregroove. While Lucia was in prison for ten years, he obtained power, knowledge, and information regarding everything correlating to the Rave Stones and the Shadow Stones. Sieg Hart says that Haru must gather all five Rave Stones and combine them all, with Elie using the power of Etherion. Using the coordinates on her arm, the group heads north. Once there, they are surrounded by a forest. A skeleton appears in front of Elie, which traumatizes her.
