Tommy and the Rugrats give up Reptar for good, and bury all their Reptar stuff in the sandbox.

The Rugrats try to stop Fall by stopping the parade, and they do, with a little help of their former friend, Reptar. And in the audience, someone from Euro Reprar Land is watching, in hopes that it would become an important part of the new theme park. Meanwhile, Grandpa recovers nicely, but ends up coming down with a new disease -- the "Love Bug" -- after a nurse named Lulu brought him back to health. In a bizarre twist, this wasn't the first time they met, yet it was the first time they knew each other.

After Grandpa Lou tells the Rugrats the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, they become convinced that Dil has eaten some magic beans and that he now possesses powers.

The grown-ups prepare for a block party. After Betty warned the Rugrats that Dil will become a watermelon if he eats too much of it, they thought that it happened when Didi took Dil inside to clean him up and was replaced at that spot with a watermelon, while they saw Chazz making balloon animals. The worst part is that watermelon is going to be part of a watermelon-eating contest.

The Cirque du Dummi Bear show is coming to town, and Angelica really wants to go. There's only one problem -- she's coming down with a cold. The good news (to her, of course) is that Charlotte and Drew doesn't know about her cold yet, so she makes a scheme to hide the cold from them and make them believe that one of the other Rugrats have it.

Kevin McNulty, one of Grandpa's old friends (and of course, related to Timmy and the McNulty boys), goes through the secret initiation in order to get into the Loyal Order of Wombats. After seeing this, the Rugrats have Dil go through something similar, so he could become one of the ""Big Babies"". In turn, their fathers mimic the Rugrats, on a bet that they could do everything the Rugrats do.

The Rugrats are at a craft & antique fair, where Didi is selling her ""Bird Homes"" -- artistic bird houses that she made. However, she hadn't made any money, or as so much as a glance from someone walking by, due to her competition. Meanwhile, Grandpa sits down on an antique rocker to tell a story to the Rugrats; naturally, he falls asleep. The rocker is up for auction, but with Grandpa still in the rocker, the Rugrats though that it was Grandpa who's up for auction, so they find a way to buy him back.

Angelica graduates from the ""Mind My Manners Charm School"", where she is taught good manners. She puts her knowledge of manners to work when an important guest, an executive for Charlotte's company, is invited to Drew & Charlotte's for dinner, leading to Angelica teaching the Rugrats some manners.

When everyone else is getting attention from the grown-ups, Tommy feels left out. Angelica offers Tommy a practical solution - fake an illness or injury. Tommy takes her advice and eventually gets some attention from Dil.

Betty chat about ""The Proud Poppas"", a 60s rock-and-roll band that they loved a long time ago. This encourages Angelica to encourage the Rugrats to start their own band.

Stu and Didi strive to make Tommy's first birthday a memorable one. They did, but under the wrong circumstances. Meanwhile Tommy wants to eat dog food so he can be just like Spike, eventually selling the other Rugrats on the idea.

Tommy has received his favorite toy in the whole world -- a ball. Angelica, always looking to spoil the babies' fun, takes the ball and tosses it into the neighbors' yard, resulting in the babies risking life and limb looking for it.

Stu and Didi ended up taking Tommy to an important dinner at "Chez Ennui" with Mr. Mucklehoney (president of Mucklehoney Industries, a toy company), since Tiffany the babysitter (via telephone) and Grandpa have different plans (the babysitter's OTHER goldfish died and Grandpa was going bowling with a friend of his named Louise). Tommy, however, has plans of his own, and proceeds to get loose in the resturant kitchen, causing absolute chaos.

Tommy wants to see the Reptar movie, but his parents take him and the other Rugrats to the Westside Octoplex to see The Land Without Smiles (starring the Dummi Bears) instead. The Rugrats leave the Dummi Bears to go look for Reptar (showing at the same theater), leaving a path of destruction behind them.

Angelica sleeps over at Tommy's, but her desire for an open window leaves Tommy feeling ill. This results in some very bizarre dreams.

Betty tells the story of how Phil and Lil got placed in a diaper commercial where the twins preferred exploring and destroying the set rather than sticking to the script.

Didi brings Tommy to her work place - the local high school, for use as a visual aid. But when Tommy gets free and roams around campus, he becomes friends with a rebellious biker.

Stu and Lou enter Tommy in a beauty pageant for baby girls when they learn that the Grand Prize is the Kingfisher 9000 (a top of the line sport fishing boat). But will a dress and a wig fool Tommy's toughest competiton...Angelica?

Stu and Grandpa take Tommy to see a Grizzlies' baseball game. Tommy, however, is more interested in his balloon hunt than the game, and his balloon hunt helps make a very important play for the Grizzlies' player Bucky Majors..

Being mistaken for the son of the millionaire Ronald Thump, Tommy is kidnapped by some thugs named Bob and Mike. But the kidnappers soon find out that it was more trouble than it was worth when Tommy begins flushing their stolen loot down the toilet.
