    „Salt and Sugar“ ist das erste syrische Werk, das 1973 im Monat Ramadan im syrischen Fernsehen gezeigt wurde. Die Ereignisse finden im Gefängnis statt, als die Sozialarbeiterin (Sabah Al-Jazairi) das Gefängnis besucht, um nach der Ursache für die Tat zu suchen und (Dhiab Mashhour) singt das Lied „Alamaya“ und erinnert sich, dass Ghawar Al-Tosha (Duraid Lahham) seine Mutter ist und sich nach einem Leben außerhalb der Bars sehnt. Er singt seine berühmten Lieder „Lou Lou Lou“ und „Oh Meine geliebte Frau, ya mo.“ Der Künstler Dhiyab Mashhour singt auch „Ya Abourdin“. Der Künstler Taroub präsentierte im Rahmen eines von Hosni organisierten Wettbewerbs auch zwei Lieder, „Tik Tok“. Al-Borzan (Nihad Qalai) im Inneren Gefängnis, durch eine syrische Komödie mit Duraid Lahham und Nihad Qalai in den Hauptrollen, in Zusammenarbeit mit Yassin Bakoush, Naji Jabr, Najah Hafeez, Abdul Latif Fathi Sabah Al-Jazairi und anderen, Regie führt Khaldoun Al-Maleh.
