The preliminary duels play out at Sekigahara: Otani Yoshitsugu vs Katakura Kojuro, Date Masamune vs Ishida Mitsunari, Shimazu Yoshihiro vs Honda Tadakatsu, and Mori Motonari vs Chosokabe Motochika.
