When he witnesses a drug deal, a socially awkward supermarket employee steals a bag of cocaine. Facing a lengthy sentence, he enlists Kronberg's help.

Episode 1

Kronberg and a former client review her case years after her arrest, as a 15-year-old, for the murder of a newborn she didn't know she was carrying.

During a work-related trip to New York, Kronberg visits his old friend, Richard, whose tragic circumstances force Kronberg to consider his own choices.

In the final analysis, it all comes down to guilt, different shades of guilt that one assumes in a single moment of thoughtlessness or in months of premeditated planning. Defence Attorney Friedrich Kronberg knows he must tip legal scales of justice in favour of his client for crimes that are never black and white and what they may seem. In German with subtitles.
