14-year-old Minke is found on the highway three years after her kidnapping. She doesn't know what happened or why she has wings tattooed on her back. Detective Asha, who failed to find Minke, is determined to unmask the perpetrators this time. Minke's father, ex-detective Lucas, conducts his own investigation against all the rules.

After the accident and Kim's mysterious disappearance, Asha becomes convinced that Minke is hiding a dark secret. She puts a lot of pressure on Minke, which puts her in direct opposition to Lucas and Eva. Robert fears that Eva and Minke are in danger from Lucas, who is becoming increasingly unstable.
