The competition heats up as the self-described players enter the mansion, and must impress Dawn on the spot, with only 45 seconds to impress Miami model Dawn and her two girlfriends. The 13 guys waste no time displaying their true personalities and put their game faces on trying anything to win a date with Dawn, including an on-the-spot serenade, a striptease and a backward flip into the pool. Later, the five chosen guys get to spend a special night on the town with Dawn at the hottest spots in South Beach. In the end, Dawn kicks one of the guys to the curb and sends him packing.

The players' next challenge finds them having to prove themselves on the court as they must play a game against the WNBA's Detroit Shock, the three who prevail are rewarded with a special dinner and hot tub time with Dawn, but when she decides she isn't feeling a connection, without warning Dawn kicks one of her suitors to the curb, literally. Meanwhile, tensions arise when one of the players makes a pass at Dawn's girlfriend, putting his stay in jeopardy. Later, the remaining 11 await elimination.

In the show's third episode, in order to win a date with Miami model Dawn, the diverse group of ""self-described"" players had to strut their stuff while walking the runway at the ultimate player pageant, culminating with a revealing bathing suit competition. The winners got a date with Dawn on a multi-million dollar yacht in Biscayne Bay, while the losers were sent home to make a special dinner for Dawn and her dates.

After testing their player skills in the wild of the Everglades through an obstacle course that culminates in a wrestling match with ferocious alligators, the winners get to spend a luxurious day at a spa with Dawn, but just as they are about to be whisked away by a helicopter, Dawn decides to leave one in the dust. Later, while Jinelle and Ananda organize a campfire for the guys, Dawn takes a romantic bubble bath with one of her suitors, but when another gets jealous, a huge argument erupts. The next day, the remaining players await elimination.

The girls throw a sexy lingerie party for the players when one of Dawn's girlfriends gets hot and heavy with one of the guys, stirring up controversy in the house. Later, on a casino boat, the guys must prove they're high rollers and impress Dawn with a gift from their earnings in order to win a date with her, but one player's antics results in an injury.

When a group of nerds unexpectedly arrives at the house, the guys must impress Dawn by teaching the nerds their ""player"" skills in order to win the next date. Later, while on the date, Dawn, not feeling challenged enough by one of her suitors, gives him a kiss and sends him on his way. Meanwhile, back at the house, one player makes a pass at Ananda in the hot tub, sparking intense controversy. With only four guys remaining, an unexpected turn of events puts emotions into high gear heading into the elimination ceremony.

When the three remaining competitors take Dawn to their hometowns to meet their friends and family, one player's game gets complicated when he runs into some of his ex-girlfriends, another player poses with Dawn in a sexy photo shoot, and the last one surprises her on the beach

With only two players remaining, the competition intensifies as accusations fly and feelings are hurt during a dinner between the two finalists and Dawn's girlfriends. Later, each player goes on a final date with Dawn. One of the two remaining players is eliminated. The player operator's identity is revealed along with a final twist in the game.
