Bouncers at a New York City nightclub are entrusted to maintain the peace, but they can't help but get themselves into trouble. When Martin, a small town newcomer, comes to Big Vic's aid in a fight with a gang of thugs, he earns himself a spot on the team. Martin happily joins the brotherhood of bouncers. However, he soon realizes that not everything is as straightforward as it seems when the bouncers show him the crooked ways they bring in the big money.

The tension among the bouncers erupts into violence at every turn. Martin reaches his breaking point as the violence, lying, and cheating reach an all-time high. Elsewhere, an insider plans to shut down Rizzio's club for good.
