When Amber and Dal find Cloe wandering the streets, they have her take them to her companions Salene, Patsy, Paul and their dog Bob.

A mysterious figure watches the group at the mall as Amber informs Dal that they can't abandon the others.

Episode 2

Bray explains that he has been spying on the tribe to make sure the mall is a safe place to bring Trudy to have her baby -- but should she be allowed to stay?

Episode 3

Bray and Trudy have been voted out of the tribe, but it seems that Trudy's contractions have started, prompting Lex to suspect a con.

Episode 4

Bray still hasn't returned, and Trudy continues to be ill, preventing her from feeding the newborn baby and prompting Dal to make the dangerous trek to his father's surgery at the abandoned hospital for antibiotics.

Episode 5

Trudy's illness has worsened, and Bray's persistent disappearances are increasingly aggravating the rest of the group.

Salene is fed up with the lack of respect for the chore assignments around the mall.

While in danger of being caught by the Locos in the forest, Cloe is rescued by a mysterious girl named Tai-San.

Bray's been captured by the Locos, and their new leader, Ebony, wants to know everything he has to tell about Zoot's whereabouts.

Much to Zandra's chagrin and Lex's relief, the wedding is interrupted when Ebony is discovered within the mall and imprisoned by the tribe members.

Following her encounter with Lex, Ebony escapes the mall, leaving the Mallrats to wonder if they're safe in staying.

As the Mallrats prepare for the impending attack on the mall by the Locos, Bray sets Ebony straight with the truth about Zoot's mysterious disappearance and comes to an agreement with the Locos' new leader.

Episode 20

Trudy decides to take her depression into her own hands by downing a bunch of sleeping pills and is discovered by Salene, who chooses to do nothing about it.

Tensions are high within the Mallrats. Trudy has woken from her self-imposed slumber, becomes confrontational with Amber and gives Bray the silent treatment.

Fed up with the tribe, Trudy and Dal have left the mall, leaving only a note behind.

Tai-San continues to elude Lex's affections the morning after their trysts, much to Lex's confusion and frustration. Meanwhile, Ryan has romantic -- though odd -- dreams about Zandra.

Thinking it will land him more late-night encounters, Lex encourages Tai-San to teach him the ways of spiritual awakenings.

Episode 25

The Nomads have decided against Dal's leaving the tribe and have taken him prisoner. Sasha's attempt to release him lands him in custody as well -- but what do the Nomads have in store for their prisoners?

Dal and Sasha work out a plan of escape from the Nomads. Back with the Mall Rats, Zandra's anger and distrust of Tai-San goes on, prompting her to assign Lex a true test of his loyalty.

Most of the tribe head to the gathering at the beach. Meanwhile, Salene, Patsy and Trudy remain at the Mall and encounter troubles of their own.

Episode 28

The tribal gathering goes horribly awry, with Lex meeting an old foe and the gang getting on the wrong side of Ebony. Meanwhile, at the Mall, Salene confesses all to Trudy.

Episode 29

Food continues to go missing from the supply, and though Trudy has forgiven Salene the wrongdoing, she encourages her to come clean to the rest of the group.

Episode 30

A lot more food has gone missing, and people are starting to notice. Sasha is becoming more and more a favorite among the Mall Rats, including Amber. Bray, however, isn't nearly as keen on Sasha's presence.

Sasha leads a group to trade with another tribe living at a nearby farm. But despite Bray's warning to leave the mall after the wedding ceremony, Sasha finds himself getting even closer with Amber.

The mall is hopping with everyone working on the upcoming wedding of Zandra and Lex.

Lex and Zandra celebrate their honeymoon away from the others, while Amber and Sasha spend their own time away.

With the place in complete disarray, Trudy is becoming increasingly frustrated with being the only person who works around the mall. Jack wants to become more mobile and enlists Dal and KC to help make it happen.

Ryan and Salene become considerably closer as he helps her escape her newfound prison and she entrusts her secrets with him. Having decided to leave the tribe, Amber and Sasha return to the mall to find the gang in shambles.

Sasha's departure has left Amber depressed and unable to let go, leading to further power struggles with Lex.

Jack believes he's made a discovery that could potentially change the lives of everyone: an adult wandering the streets!

Patsy has come face-to-face with the mysterious adult wandering about and convinces him to come back to the mall in hopes that he'll help restore order and hope to the group.

Just as Bray feared, the Tribe Circus -- led by the insane Top Hat -- invades the mall attempting to enslave the Mall Rats, but the Mall Rats aren't giving up without a fight.

The mall has been set ablaze by Top Hat and the Tribe Circus, and the Mall Rats are hopelessly trapped inside-- that is, until Lex secures a deal with Ebony and the Locos.

Episode 47

Ebony seems to have won, having taken not only the antidote, but also Lex and Bray. But Amber's not giving Bray up so easily, and she embarks on a search for the Locos' hideout.

Episode 48

Bray is still being held prisoner by Ebony, but the tribe hatch a plan to spy on her hotel. Meanwhile, Lex struggles to survive alone in the City and tempers flare at the Mall.

Episode 49

Jack believes he's uncovered the secret to the mysterious formula, but he has a hard time convincing the others to go along with his hunch since it means potentially leaving the mall for good.

Episode 50

Prompted by Jack's insistence and Tai-San's vision, which seems to confirm his hunch, the Mall Rats agree to leave their home for Eagle Mountain.

Episode 51

The Mall Rats have encountered a literal roadblock on their way to Eagle Mountain, but they're saved by the sudden arrival of Bray and Ebony in one of the Locos' buses.

Episode 52

While the Mall Rats try to carry on after suffering two devastating losses, a strange cult dedicated to Zoot arrives on the shores near the City.

The Mall Rats arrive back home, despondent and still reeling from their loss. Lex, Tai-San and Ebony bring the antidote to the Mall, while Bray brings Danni.

The Mall Rats find themselves harassed by kids desperate for the antidote. Following her destruction of the formula, Tai-San searches for herbs to create her own version of it while the Chosen continue their journey to the City.

Just as the gang are preparing to flee the Mall, Tai-San claims that she has made the antidote. Trudy feels increasingly alone, while an enraged Alice and others arrive at the Mall demanding the real antidote.

Alice takes Tai-San hostage until she is sure that Ellie is on the mend, and when she is, the two sisters decide to move to the Mall, with Alice becoming Tai-San's bodyguard. Meanwhile, the Chosen arrive in the City.

Alice appoints Dal as Chief of the farm in her absence, while Bray and Danni begin arranging a meeting of tribe leaders. The Chosen arrive in the City and move in on the Mall Rats.

Bray, Danni and Ebony attend the meeting of tribe leaders, which goes well until the Chosen arrive and frighten away the other leaders. Meanwhile, Alice becomes concerned about Tai-San, who begins exhibiting symptoms of the Virus.

Alice is increasingly worried by Tai-San's continued illness, while Jack and Ellie search for answers about the Virus much to Danni's annoyance. Trudy appoints Patsy as Brady's official child minder, with disastrous results.

Trudy is distraught following Brady's kidnapping, with Patsy fleeing to escape her wrath. Tai-San is in a critical condition after an explosion in the laboratory and Alice is determined to find proof that KC was behind it.

Tai-San has woken from her coma, but is suffering from amnesia. Still distraught, Trudy is outraged by the warm welcome Patsy receives when she returns to the Mall, and the video Jack and Ellie discovered proves to be highly significant.

Bray finds it difficult to deal with Tai-San's decision to tell him the formula, Jack and Ellie investigate the theory that the Virus came space, while Danni creates a Bill of Rights just as the Chosen invade Alice's farm.

After being confronted by the Chosen at the farm, Dal arrives to tell the tribe about them and they deduce that the Chosen stole Brady. Salene's frustration at Ryan's aloofness sends her off the rails, while Jack makes a shocking discovery.

In order to get the Guardian on her side, Ebony tricks Trudy into following her to the Chosen's lair. Jack and Ellie try to find the missing videotape and theorize about the Virus, while Salene and Ryan continue to butt heads.

With Ebony's fate in Trudy's hands, the pair reminisce about their lives with Bray and Martin before the Virus.

The tribe discovers Trudy is missing and Tai-San suggests the Chosen as culprits. Jack and Ellie have trouble expressing their feelings for each other. Meanwhile, at the Chosen's lair, Trudy and Ebony hatch an escape plan.

Ebony makes Bray a proposition, while Trudy is forced to join the Chosen. Will she ever see her friends again?

Reeling from his loss, Bray lashes out at Lex, who he blames for Trudy's disappearance. KC, Patsy and Cloe go trading, Ellie tries to smooth things over with Jack, while Ebony resorts to blackmail to get what she wants.

Ebony is irritating everyone with her newfound authority, while Lex finds himself unneeded and unwanted. Jack and Ellie continue to blow hot and cold for each other and Ryan tells Salene about his life with Lex before the Virus.

The tribe is occupied with the tribal leader gathering which they are arranging at the Mall, and Danni is confident about her Bill of Rights. Jack is jealous of Dal and Ellie's newfound closeness, while Ebony hatches a deadly scheme.

A deflated tribe buries Bob, with Tai-San convinced someone tried to poison her and the finger pointed at an unlikely person. Jack and Ellie begin work on the news sheet, while Salene tries to help Lex.

Lex's actions have severe consequences for him, while Ebony's questions at Danni's trial lead to a startling revelation.

Danni's trial reaches its conclusion, prompting more questions than answers. Jack's jealousy about Ellie and Dal continues, Bray tries to make amends with Tai-San and Ebony's scheming intensifies.

The tribe host a trading market. Danni worries that Jack and Ellie will find information related to her father's work, while Patsy and Cloe get a new dog, and Lex meets his match.

Danni's secret is out, with Bray's authority called into question. Spotting an advantage, Ebony plots to take over the tribe, while Lex finds himself double crossed.

Ellie is frustrated by the tribe's refusal to print the truth about the Virus in the news sheet, while Danni is enjoying her new job as Judge, and Spike is back, looking for revenge.

Dal is frustrated with his work party, who believe that the Virus is gone. Ebony is Spike's prisoner, Jack and Ellie are in romantic bliss, while Ryan proves to be a successful teacher.

Tai-San has a dream about Ebony being imprisoned, but finds it difficult to convince the others that she is in danger. Ebony herself continues to have flashbacks about Zoot, and Patsy and Cloe decide to find boyfriends.

The tribe find that they are no longer trusted, with the other tribes turning against them. Ebony is an emotional wreck after her ordeal with Spike, and Dal finds himself the object of Patsy and Cloe's affections.

The Mall Rats are pleased to be trading and working with the other tribes again, Patsy and Cloe continue their pursuit of Dal, while Tai-San tries to help Ebony recover.

Ellie is determined to print everything the tribe knows about the Virus in the news sheet, Salene is frustrated by Ryan and his pressuring her to start a family, and Lex's incompetence costs the tribe dearly.

The Mall Rats host a dance party for all the tribes. Salene is still angry with Ryan, Alice tries to impress Lex, and Ebony is determined to bring the token thief to justice.

The Mall Rats encounter revolt from other tribes, who are tired of working and threaten strike. Ebony opens her heart to Bray, but he only has eyes for Danni. Ryan stupidly makes Lex fall off the wagon, and there is an unexpected return.

The tribe is astounded by the return of Trudy, who remains cagey about the details of her escape. Most wonder whether the Chosen will come for her, whereas Ebony sees it as an opportunity to exert power.

Alice lies trapped in the farmhouse, Ebony continues to throw her weight around, and Ryan tries in vain to make up with Salene.

Bray and Danni prepare for the tribal forum, Alice encourages Lex to improve himself and Trudy forgives Patsy her mistake, but arouses Salene's suspicions in the process.

Salene feels guilty about not apologizing to Ryan before he went story hunting with Ellie. Meanwhile, Alice falls further for Lex, Trudy's behavior becomes more erratic, and Ebony decides to move out of the Mall.

Bray is confident the Mall Rats can bring peace to the City, but only if they allow Billy-Boy, the leader of the Jackals, to trade at market. Alice makes a move on Lex, Ryan decides to move on, and Jack is given a special assignment.

Salene finds Ryan just in time, and Jack's spying gets off to a bad start when he is almost caught by Ebony. Cloe's suspicions about Trudy grow, while Tai-San's interference in Lex and Alice's relationship only complicates things further.

Trudy reveals a twisted side by sending Cloe a demented gift, Tai-San is conflicted in her feelings for Lex, with both trying to let Alice down gently, while Ellie finally hears news of the Chosen.

The tribe is overjoyed by the news that the Chosen have been defeated. KC gets his rat race after all, but he may not have the sure fire winner, while Jack has enlisted Dal to help him spy on Ebony at the hotel.

Lex is ill the morning after his meal at Trudy's, arousing Tai-San's suspicions. Ryan proposes to Salene and Ebony hosts a pool party. Meanwhile, Wolf passes Trudy's message on to the Guardian, who plans terror for the City.

The Chosen continue to kidnap people all over the City, with a little boy alerting Ellie to the threat. Tai-San ends her secret romance with Lex, Trudy loses her temper with Cloe, and a troubled Salene seeks comfort away from Ryan.

Salene is left heartbroken and despondent, Lex breaks the news about his secret relationship to Alice, but neglects to tell her that the object of his affection is Tai-San, and more about Trudy's motives is revealed.

The Chosen prepare for their final assault on the City by targeting Ebony, Dal opens his heart to Ellie, Bray goes in search of Salene, and Alice incorrectly guesses the identity of Lex's mystery lover.

Ebony vows to clear her name, the Jackals disrupt trading at market, Alice gets herself into trouble, and Salene finds help from an unlikely source.

The Mall Rats are worried when the market is abandoned by the other tribes, Alice continues spying for Ebony, Salene brings May back to the Mall with her, and Lex finds himself accused of murder.

Trudy successfully manages to deflect suspicion away from herself, Ebony continues the search for the traitor in her outfit, and Lex has a question for Tai-San.

It is the day of Ryan and Salene and Lex and Tai-San's double wedding, and the Chosen have plans for Ebony and the rest of the Mall Rats.

The Tribe is a New Zealand/British post-apocalyptic fictional TV series primarily aimed at teenagers. It is set in a near-future in which all adults have been wiped out by a deadly virus, leaving the children of the world to fend for themselves. The show's focus is on an unnamed city inhabited by tribes of children and teenagers. It was primarily filmed in and around Wellington, New Zealand.

The series was created by Raymond Thompson and Harry Duffin and was developed and produced by the Cloud 9 Screen Entertainment Group in conjunction with the UK's Channel 5. It has aired on over 40 broadcast networks around the world.
