Makoto (Konno Ayaka) ends up spending some time at Odagiri's (Totsuka Shota) house. Once the issue with Makoto's mother is resolved, Ren plans to tell Makoto the "secret" he has been hiding. "There's something I've never been able to tell you," he says. Just as he is about to reveal this "secret," he receives news from Kiba Haruka (Masaki Reiya) that "my father (Tatekawa Shiraku) has collapsed." Makoto sends Ren and Kiba off, but he looks worried... Meanwhile, Tora (Nakamura Reia), who has discovered Ren's true identity, rushes to Makoto's side. Makoto says that Tora is kind and worried about her, but Tora finally confesses his long-held feelings to her, saying, "It's because I love you."
