Kyle reassures Phyllis that he sees Summer as nothing more than a friend. Phyllis explains to Summer that Kyle isn’t interested in her and she should let her crush go.  Sharon confronts Noah about hooking up with Adriana after the weeding. Noah fires back by saying people can change and brings up her relationship with Adam. The Newman’s scramble to disarm the gunman while a family member is rushed to the hospital. Later, Congressman Wheeler overhears Abby tell Kyle about the horrible incident at the ranch. Nick and Avery talk about the bouquet that she caught at the wedding and what it means for their future.

After surviving the ordeal at the ranch, Victoria decides that she wants to expand her and Billy's legacy by having a baby. The Newman family gather at the hospital and discuss the fallout of the shooting. Avery and Nick are startled by Dylan when he arrives at the tack house with a gift for Faith. Dylan reveals that he is leaving for Chicago, for good. Nick excuses himself so Avery and Dylan can say their goodbyes. Michael presses Lauren to be completely honest with him. Lauren shoots down the idea of marriage counseling.

Phyllis tells Jack she backed out of their trip because she found Summer half naked in front of Kyle in his office. Jack offers to talk to Kyle but Phyllis thinks it's best if Summer interns for the Jabot fashion line with Neil. Neil has a heated conversation with Congressman Wheeler. Later, Wheeler is at the police station when he sees Bob brought it by Alex. Wheeler asks Paul to keep him updated on the progress of the case. Nikki and Victor return to the ranch for the first time since the shooting occurred. Tyler surprises Leslie when he says he is testifying for the prosecution in their father's case.

Jack and Victor decide to work together to bring down Wheeler. Once Wheeler shows up at the ranch house, they accuse him of sending the shooter to Victor and Nikki's wedding. Kevin pleas with Michael to rethink the separation with Lauren. Lauren shows up at the GCAC while Carmine is working behind the bar. Cane becomes worried with Katherine after she continuously shows severe forgetfulness at their lunch. Meanwhile, Chloe spots a box of expensive items marked as a donation to charity at Kay's mansion. Alex and Paul question Wheeler about his relationship with Victor.

Chloe urges Chelsea to tell Adam about their baby. Billy and Victoria continue to plan for their future baby. They run into Chloe at the hospital after their appointment with their fertility doctor. Billy asks Chloe if he can spend more time with Delia. Lily forces Tyler to face his true emotions about his father and his murder trial. Tyler opens up and reveals his real name to her. Cane learns that Katherine has diagnosed herself with Alzheimer's and urges her to go see a doctor and she agrees. Dylan is at a roadside bar when an unruly patron starts to harass the bartender. Nick surprises Avery with a romantic evening set up in her apartment.

Victoria asks Chelsea if things are really over for Adam and Chelsea since he was a different, happier person when they were together. Victor tells Nikki he has guards at the ranch and his own investigators working on figuring out who was behind the ambush on their wedding. Paul and Alex question Jack's relationship with Congressman Wheeler and his daughter Stephanie. Later, Jack and Victor decide they need to rethink their plan. Lily stops a fight between Cane and Tyler. Cane leaves to meet with Katherine. Katherine's doctor gives her a series of memory tests.

Tyler tells Leslie he isn’t going to let their disagreement get in between them anymore. Avery shows up and lets them know that they will have a ruling on Gus’ case today. Paul and Alex question Wheeler about his daughter. Later, Victor, Jack and Wheeler make a deal to fund his next campaign in exchange for his silence on their involvement in Stephanie’s death. Nick learns that there were complications with Dylan’s bail and that he spend the night on Avery’s couch. Nick offers Dylan his old bartending job back at The Underground. Chelsea tells Adam's doctor to notify Sharon of his progress instead of her. Chelsea tells Chloe she isn't planning on telling Adam about the baby. Michael returns to his apartment to pick up some clothes when Lauren tells him she is ready to do whatever it takes to save their marriage. Meanwhile, Carmine calls Lauren and asks to see her. Later, Michael tells Kevin that Lauren is ready to give their marriage another shot. Jill accuses Adriana of stealing Katherine's box of items for charity.

Lauren tells Michael that she realized she wants to be at home with her family. Paul and Alex tell Leslie they have new evidence in her mother's murder. Chelsea checks in on Adam who says he's been think about the second chance he's been given. Later, Victor stops by to visit Adam.

Avery learns that Nick has given Dylan his bartending job back at The Underground. Later, Avery comes back to The Underground and finds a romantic evening set up. Meanwhile, Dylan runs into Sharon at the coffeehouse and lets her know he's going to be staying in Genoa City longer than he planned. Kyle tells Abby that Summer's crush on him will fade since she is now interning in the fashion division. Later, Summer sneaks into the Abbott mansion. Adam questions Victor's sincerity and wants to know what it will take to stop the war between them. Congressman Wheeler receives bad news from his lawyer. Later, he vows to take down Jack and Victor with him. Meanwhile, Leslie tells Tyler that their father will be released.

Avery considers Nick's proposal. Nikki learns that Victoria and Billy are trying to have another baby. When Kyle tells Summer he is interested in someone else, Summer researches how to get the attention of an older man. Chelsea and Dylan bond over coffee at Crimson Lights. Victor tells Adam that Newman Enterprises is about family as they form a partnership. Later, Nikki warns Adam against tricking Victor. Congressman Wheeler is stunned to learn he is being charged with the murder of Belinda Rogan.

Kevin and Chloe overhear Jill and Katherine arguing about Adriana and the missing box of charitable items. Kevin tries to cover his tracks and agrees with Jill when she says that Adriana is trouble. Billy and Victoria celebrate Johnny's first birthday. Kevin and Chloe drop off Delia for a visit. Cane and Lily agree to stop fighting over Tyler. Leslie, Tyler and Gus confront Congressman Wheeler at the police station about Belinda's murder.

Summer succeeds at getting Kyle’s attention after she makes herself look older. Abby tells Summer she needs to let Kyle go since he is interested in someone else.  Sharon finds Avery’s engagement ring and questions Nick about his intentions. Later, Sharon tells Dylan about the proposal and he states that there may be hope for him and Avery. Chloe continues to try to convince Chelsea to pass her baby off as Dylan’s. Michael and Lauren try to spend an evening together for the first time in a while.

Michael suggests he and Lauren start marriage counseling. Lauren wants to get away from their problems and go on a vacation together. Later, Carmine shows up at Lauren and Michael's apartment unannounced. Paul becomes suspicious of Lauren and Carmine. Tyler has a hard time adjusting to Gus being out of prison. Victor and Adam agree to work together at Newman Enterprises. Victoria becomes jealous of their new-found relationship. Alex and Noah have a heated discussion about Adriana. Later, Noah and Tyler commiserate together over not being able to trust people.

Jack and Phyllis enjoy their vacation in Istanbul when Jack gets a surprise call from Congressman Wheeler. The case against Wheeler reaches a shocking climax. Nick speaks to Summer and Kyle on separate occasions and warns both of them to stay away from each other. Kyle tells Nick he will stay away from Summer but he should be aware that her new mature look with attract attention from other guys. Nick tells Avery he wants to have more kids with her. Later, Dylan tells Avery that she'll be an excellent mother. Katherine is shocked when she receives her test results. Tyler confides in Lily about all of his issues with Gus.

When Nick tells Noah that he and Avery are engaged, Noah questions the timing of the proposal. Meanwhile, Dylan questions why Avery hasn't told Nick about a secret from their past. Neil and Leslie's romantic evening is interrupted by Gus. Later, Leslie finds a box of Gus' personal items. Lily makes Tyler promise her that he'll never kiss her again, and that they are just friends. Meanwhile, Katherine tells Cane that aside from Lily, no one else can know about her tumor. Cane tries to convince Katherine to tell Murphy and Jill about her diagnosis. Chloe tries to convince Chelsea to convince her to find a guy she can pass off as her baby's father.

Sharon brings Adam home from the hospital and offers to move back in to help him through his recovery. Later, Sharon runs into Chelsea at the coffeehouse. Victor meets with Abby, Nick, Billy, and Victoria for dinner to discuss a birthday celebration for Nikki. Victor also announces that he plans on running Newman Enterprises with Adam and asks if his other children will return to the company. Chloe and Chelsea walk in on Alex questioning Kevin about the missing charity items from the Chancellor mansion. Kevin and Chloe accuse Adriana of stealing the missing items. Avery receives a shocking offer from Dylan.

Jack tells Phyllis that he won't let rain ruin their last day during their vacation in Istanbul. As they enjoy a romantic day together, Jack asks Phyllis to move in with him. Avery agrees to watch Faith while Nick goes to Nikki's birthday dinner. Avery struggles to entertain a cranky Faith while Nick is away. Adam questions Victoria's motives after she makes a shocking announcement at Nikki's birthday dinner. Michael comes home to a romantic setting that Lauren prepared. Later, Lauren receives a text from Carmine asking if they can still be friends. An acquaintance from Billy's past entices him with a deck of cards he's shuffling.

Avery gets a call from Dylan asking her to meet him at the coffeehouse. Later, Nick confronts Avery about lying to him. Adam, Billy, Carmine, Mason, and Michael play a high stakes poker game at On the Blvd. Victor questions Victoria’s intentions at Newman Enterprises. Carmine shows up at Lauren and Michael’s apartment. Lauren tells Carmine she doesn’t want to lose her marriage and he should go.

Billy shocks Victoria with the news that he bought On the Blvd. Victoria picks up on the awkwardness between Barry and Billy when they stop by the restaurant. Leslie rants to Tyler and Neil about Gus making her crazy at home. Leslie becomes fed up with Gus' efforts to make up for years of abandonment. Later, Gus grasps at his chest. Lily surprises herself when she finds herself becoming jealous of Tyler. Sharon drops by Newman Enterprises to clean out her desk. Adam tells her he went to see Chelsea and asks if she thinks he can fix things between them. After some prodding from Adam, Sharon reveals to him that Chelsea is pregnant. Nick and Avery make up after their argument about Dylan. They discuss their wedding plans as Avery realizes that she needs to tell Phyllis about their engagement.

Noah tells Sharon about Avery and Nick's engagement. When Noah questions her feelings about the engagement, Sharon assures him that she has moved on. Meanwhile, Chelsea, Dylan, and Adam have a heated discussion at Crimson Lights. Later, Dylan shows up at Sharon's and tells her about Chelsea's pregnancy. Victor questions Victoria's motives about working at Newman Enterprises. Adam shows up, and tells Victor about Chelsea's pregnancy. Chloe and Kevin realize that their marriage is stuck in a rut and attempt to find a way to spice things up. Leslie tells Tyler about Gus's heart attack. Leslie tells Tyler that she wants to focus more on building their relationship.

When Avery tells Phyllis about her engagement to Nick, Phyllis tells her that they're rushing into it for the wrong reasons. Carmine promises not to tell Victoria about Billy's gambling. Later, Jack congratulates Billy on his new venture at the restaurant. Fen tries to reach out to Summer and is angered when she rejects his advances. Michael and Lauren discuss their failed marriage and he tells her he needs to be somewhere else for a while. Fen worries that Michael is giving up on the family.
