Jung Ae is living a perfect life with a successful husband and son, and all her friends are jealous of her. However, Jung Ae still wants to find her ex-husband, whom she has been out of touch with for 30 years. Meanwhile, Eun Sung picks up a photo of her father on the street.

Jung Ae secretly asks her friend for help to find Dong Gu, and her children, Eun Hyuk and Eun A. Eun Sung finally gets a chance to perform on stage for the first time after joining the theater. While Eun Sung practices the role at the park, Sun Woo happens to see her acting.

Following an unexpected response to her soft-spoken words from an invisible presence, Eun Sung hurriedly leaves the park. Meanwhile, Ha Young sets her sights on Sun Woo as a potential boyfriend. As fate would have it, they cross paths, and her scarf accidentally drops in Sun Woo's path. She regards this as an ideal, coincidental moment to initiate their relationship and excitedly anticipates his gesture of picking it up.

Eun Sung crashes into Sun Woo dressed in a cat costume, and a mob of people start taking pictures of her because of her outfit. Sun Woo, who sees her hesitating about what to do, covers her up with his jacket. However, she runs away without saying a word. Later, Sun Woo reports her to the police, hoping to get back his jacket with his wallet and phone.

After causing a huge scene at the theater, Eun Sung quits. However, she regrets it immediately as she is unemployed now. Meanwhile, Ha Young visits a crime scene for her next movie, and Eun Hyuk heads to the same place after getting a report.

Sun Woo and Eun Sung run into each other at the police station. Even though Sun Woo is looking for the cat lady, he cannot recognize her when she's right in front of him. Meanwhile, Eun Sung is worried she might end up in prison as Si Heon is not willing to withdraw the complaint.

Eun Sung talks to Si Heon to persuade him to withdraw his complaint. However, with Ju Ri by his side, Eun Sung has zero chance of getting out of this trouble. Ha Young finally meets Sun Woo in person at the office and already makes an unpleasant first impression.

With Sun Woo's help, Sun Ju posts the truth behind Si Heon on the Internet for Eun Sung. As expected, Si Heon cannot handle the criticism and resentment toward him. Therefore, he calls Eun Sung first to meet up and talk it out. Meanwhile, Dal Yong is about to get a divorce from his wife, and his family is worried about him.

Sun Woo recognizes Eun Sung right away with her phone case. Sun Woo and Eun Sung leave the theater together to find Sun Woo's jacket, which Eun Sung lost. Sun Woo meets up with Eun Sung to get back his jacket but sees her with a male mannequin and gets the wrong idea about her job. Meanwhile, Ha Young becomes furious at Dal Yong after she learns about another divorce he had, and Jung Ae happens to walk by Yoo Dong Gu on the street.

On her way to a bakery to meet with Jung Sook to talk to her about her frustration over Ki Seok, Jung Ae walks right past Dong Gu. Meanwhile, Eun Sung stresses over not getting anywhere in her acting career, and Ha Young tries to blame Eun Hyuk for breaking the heel of her shoes.

Sun Woo and Eun Sung both end up at the movies, watching a film together, though not exactly side by side. They hit it off over a little chat about the movie, bonding over shared interests, until Sun Woo unintentionally touches a nerve for Eun Sung. Meanwhile, Ha Young is laser-focused on getting closer to Sun Woo.

Eun Sung might appreciate a bit of consolation as she anxiously awaits the audition results, feeling disappointed with her performance. Meanwhile, Sun Ju unintentionally overhears her mother and aunt, sparking curiosity about the mysterious guy in their conversation.

Chun Young unleashes her wrath on Eun Sung after learning she got fired from the theater. Eun Sung tells Sun Ju about what happened, and Sun Ju takes it into her own hands to punish Si Heon for what he did. Meanwhile, Dal Yong gets caught sneaking into the house by Ha Young.

Managing to fix Ha Young's shoes, Eun Hyuk returns them to her. While Eun Hyuk imbues each moment related to the shoes with meaning, Ha Young remains uninterested. However, in the inevitable way desperate situations unfold, he comes up empty-handed. Meanwhile, Eun Sung's sole focus is on her audition at Cheong Film. Determined to make it happen, she whisks Sun Ju away, seeking a favor.
