When Cal is discovered missing from his bedroom, Grace and Ben launch a desperate search which takes them to the remote mountains of upstate New York. A tantalizing trail of breadcrumbs leads them to a startling, game-changing discovery. Meanwhile, Michaela confronts the deceptive Autumn, and the shadowy "Major" finally makes an appearance.

While on vacation, Angela's boyfriend goes missing . When a skull shows up, she asks Brennan for help in identification, concerned it might be her boyfriend or the female guide who went missing with him. The investigation leads the team to a violent boyfriend, the local sheriff and ultimately to a counterfeiting ring setup in the desert.

When Stephen and Russell head out for a night of fun, they run into a potential new break-out. Stephen and Russell report back to John and Cara about the new person, but they want to keep a low profile from Ultra. Sadly, Russell learns that his dad has passed away and he is torn about whether or not he should go home. John volunteers to accompany Russell to help keep him out of trouble. Meanwhile, Jedikiah has a shocking secret that could destroy his career.
