While Janeway searches for a cure, she begins to form a deeper relationship with her first officer. Onboard Voyager, Tuvok, who is now in command, faces a near mutiny.

Stardate: 50863.2. The Doctor decides he should create a holographic family in order to expand himself. When B'Elanna is disgusted by its unrealistic perfectionism, she alters the program to include random events and outcomes with interesting and devastating results.

Magnum becomes embroiled in Carol Baldwin's professional and private life which puts his investigative skills on a sensitive course.

Magnum's enthusiasm for a lucrative business deal is put on the back burner when TC's son lands in jail.
