Sin embargo, algo va a cruzarse en su camino: la policía ha llegado a La Laguna Negra preguntando por ella y Jacinta, que se ha enterado de que se escapó de un psiquiátrico, le pide que se marche definitivamente del internado a cambio de no denunciarla. Iván, Cayetano y Roque siguen haciendo de las suyas a Marcos, que harto de su actitud acaba enzarzándose en una pelea con sus compañeros. María les separa pero los chicos, que no quieren dejarse amedrentar por la nueva limpiadora, deciden vengarse. Victoria y Carolina están preocupadas por la extraña desaparición de Alfonso y deciden emprender sus propias investigaciones. Encuentran en el ordenador del profesor un correo electrónico que puede darles alguna pista pero parece que alguien, enterado de sus movimientos, se les ha adelantado y ha borrado la información. Mientras tanto Alfonso, herido, lucha por salir de la cripta en la que está atrapado.
