Using the Transportation Technique, Sasuke arrives at a strange location that is covered with mysterious inscriptions. There he finds many surprising things about the Otsutsuki Clan. Meanwhile, Boro, one of the leaders of the Kara, has been using his mysterious powers publicly to heal the sick. He tells the people who have gathered that he has a way for everyone to achieve happiness.

Amado reveals to Naruto and the others the knowledge that he possesses regarding Jigen, the Otsutsuki Clan, and Karma. Meanwhile, Koji Kashin confronts Jigen, and Amado's plan to eliminate him is revealed.

Boruto opens a portal and transports Isshiki and himself to another dimension. Naruto and Sasuke follow them, and the final battle against Isshiki begins.

Naruto and Sasuke are greatly overwhelmed by Isshiki's abilities. As a last resort, Kurama offers Naruto a chakra mode called Baryon Mode, which grants him immense power. The intensity of this power, however, could end his life.

Due to the risk that Code might attempt to kill Boruto and Kawaki, guards are assigned to them. Boruto is sick of being watched every day. As the battle intensifies, Kawaki becomes worried that Momoshiki might take control of Boruto’s consciousness. Meanwhile, in the Hidden Leaf Village, Boruto and Kawaki had disappeared without anyone noticing. Naruto decides to do his own investigation to find out where they went.

Amid a fierce battle, Kawaki’s fears come true, and Momoshiki takes control of Boruto. Kawaki watches as Boruto overwhelms Code as Momoshiki. Then Naruto arrives with Shikamaru. Kawaki is concerned for Naruto’s safety as one of Code’s targets, but despite his wishes, Naruto takes on Code as the Hokage. Unfortunately, Code takes Shikamaru hostage, and in his desire to settle his grudge, Momoshiki joins him. Naruto faces an extremely dangerous situation.

Boruto makes a desperate decision to prevent Momoshiki from taking over his consciousness again. Meanwhile, Kawaki drives back Code using the Karma that Amado revived. Willing to do whatever it takes to eliminate anyone who is a threat to Naruto, Kawaki fights with overwhelming power. Shikamaru is shocked by his strength, and Code learns the difference in their powers. Boruto and Kawaki have overcome various obstacles as brothers, but a troubling shadow begins to loom over their relationship. It’s been two years since the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War. Shikamaru now has an important role within the Hidden Leaf government, and as a representative of the Leaf in the Alliance. One day, a situation develops with shinobi disappearing in droves, and Shikamaru takes on a dangerous mission.

After the Great War, many missing and Rogue Ninja made their way into the Land of Silence. Sai, who has infiltrated the region to investigate, sends a cryptic message back to the Leaf. Shikamaru, determined to find out what's happening, heads for the Land of Silence with two members of the ANBU, Soku and Ro. However, they must first get past a heavily guarded checkpoint.

Shikamaru and his team are within range of Fushu Castle, where Gengo is purported to be. But they are unable to glean any intel about the man. Learning that Gengo will make a public appearance, Shikamaru and company infiltrate the square, where they see Sai being held captive.

Ino, Choji, and Temari rush to Shikamaru’s aid! Choji takes on Ro, Temari goes after Soku, and Ino goes after Sai! Meanwhile, Shikamaru pursues Gengo. Can Shikamaru defeat Gengo’s evil ambitions? The final battle begins!

Wounded and hungry, Kawaki escapes from the tech lab and makes his way to a nearby town to find food. Sumire tracks him down, believing she can help him. Meanwhile, Naruto begins making his way to the area to meet with Kawaki himself.

Kawaki begins to worry that his presence is endangering everyone in the Leaf Village. Just as he makes the decision to leave, he notices Himawari acting strange.

Those with a Karma gradually lose control of their minds and bodies as they undergo Otsutsukification. Naruto convenes a Five Kage Summit to discuss what they should do about Boruto’s condition, as well as Code, one of the leaders of Kara.

Boruto is visiting the prison when an airship explodes during the ceremony. Just as he is about to rush to the scene, the facility is attacked, so he stays to help Kagura fight off the assailants. Will they be able to stop the attempted prison break of the leader of a gang of pirates?

In retaliation against Boruto and his friends for destroying Tenma’s mobile fortress, the pirates land on the Isle of Shipbuilders. Funamushi, a follower of the Funato Clan, attacks Kagura, hoping to capture him alive so that he can use him as a bargaining chip. Kagura fights back using the Hiramekarei—the twin swords that the Sixth Mizukage Chojuro entrusted to him—but Funamushi is a formidable foe. Meanwhile, Seiren appears before Boruto and torments him with her persistent attacks. Can Boruto find his way out of this predicament?!

Shikamaru is captured while trying to save Sai and stop Gengo. Far from giving up, he racks his brain to find a away out of the situation. Just as an opportunity presents itself, Ro and Soku appear under Gengo’s control!
