After Todd Brotzman happens upon a murder scene, he meets self-proclaimed detective, Dirk Gently, and is drawn into a case involving the death of reclusive millionaire, Patrick Spring, and the kidnapping of his daughter Lydia. As multiple characters and storylines seem primed to converge, tangling endlessly in towards the center, it’s clear to Todd that his life will never be the same.

Dirk fulfills the prophecy and restores order by courageously returning to Blackwing to where it all began. Todd and Amanda go toe-to-toe with the villainous Suzie Boreton.

The case seems to take a major turn when Arnold, the son of the dead Cardenas couple, shows up. Meanwhile, Amanda is led to a mystical coven in the woods of Wendimoor led by the forest witch Wakti Wapnasi, where she begins to master her unique powers.

As Wendimoor falls into chaos, The Mage enacts his final solution, putting both worlds in dire jeopardy and forcing our heroes to face off against the season-long villains. Amanda and Todd must overcome their differences to help Dirk.
