The collision between both worlds stops, and all DATS are reunited with their loved ones in celebration. But not all is joy, as the Digimon must return to help rebuild the Digital World. Each of the DATS digimon spend their last day on Earth together with their human partners. As the day of the parting comes, Marcus arrives telling Agumon he's coming with it to the Digital World. Five years later, Kristy and Keenan attend middle school together; Thomas received the Nobel Prize for curing Relena's illness; Yoshi has become a police officer; and both Marcus and Agumon have became the number one street fighters of the Digital World.

Gon, Killua and Leorio arrive at a place where Nobunaga and Machi pretend to be a couple sitting in a cafe, but they do not attack understanding that they are not strong enough. Neon runs away and is found by Chrollo Lucilfer who pretends to be friendly to get her prophecy. He helps her to sneak into the auction, then hits her unexpectedly and tells the security to call the emergency.

Gon, Leorio and Kurapika stay in the Zoldyck family's servants' quarters at the security guards behest. Zebro lets them in through the Testing Gate (weighing tons), and Gon feels he should have been able to let himself in. While they stay there, the guard trains them with weighted brooms, water buckets, slippers, cups and whatnot. They end up extremely strong. After 20 days they are able to open the gate themselves, and they start walking through the grounds towards the house. Gon and Kurapika can push the first gate of 2 tons open, and Leorio is strong enough for the second gate.

Fujimoto and his companions try their best to protect Rin from the demons who are after him, but he ends up posessed by Satan, the most powerful of the demons and Rin's father. Seeing his guardian taking his own life to protect him fron Satan, Rin decides to fight back by unlocking his demonic powers, even knowing that by doing it he would not be a human anymore.

Having Shiemi as a new classmate, Rin's total disregard for classes brings forth the anger of another classmate of his, Ryuji Suguro, aka "Bon". After learning of Bon's story, Rin finds that they have more in common than he would like to admit.

Killua stops trying to take the ball from Netero because his killer instincts are surfacing. Anita escapes her handlers and attacks Killua, who comes close to killing Anita, but lets her live because otherwise Gon would get mad at him. Gon is never able to get the ball, but makes Netero use his left leg and both hands once, and is satisfied.

A night at the casino lands Spike and Jet in hot water when they cross paths with Faye Valentine, a stunning con artist wanted by the law – and the bad guys.

Rin and Yukio find that the responsible for their meals at the dormitory was Ukoback, a cooking familiar appointed by Mephisto Pheles to aid them. They also learn how Ukoback can be troublesome when he gets angry.

As the hearing drags on, the Order finds itself unable to decide on Rin's fate, as Mephisto has proclaimed him to be "a weapon for counterattacking Satan." Just then, something happens…!

The assailant has escaped, but things are just getting back to normal after the monastery attack. Just then, someone appears before Yukio!

Hisoka determines the real examiner by flinging deadly playing cards at each man, reasoning the true Hunter will live, and it's Satotz. Later, he plays at being an examiner and kills many examinees. Although Hisoka is able to kill all of his intended victims, he recognizes that Gon and Leorio are special and lets them live.

People all over town begin acting strangely, but it isn't their fault, as most of them have been replaced by mirror world clones of themselves! With Satsuki and Hajime the last two people in the town who haven't been swapped, they'll have to find a way to end this ghost, before they end up in the mirror!

　As a special event to decorate the last night of the trip to Okinawa, Onizuka proposes a pair of men and women, "Swimsuit liver test and stunning". Moreover, the pair is Onizuka's dogma and prejudice. Naturally, Kyoko will pair with Yoshikawa due to Onizuka's strategy (?). 　Kyoko begins to try herself alone in a dark place and gradually becomes obedient to her own heart. The successful examinees are taken by blimp to an island hotel. In order to pay for the rooms, they dive to collect treasure from sunken ships. Kurapika explains to Leorio that everyone from his clan was killed by the Phantom Troupe for their eyes. When a member of the Kurta clan dies with their emotions ablaze, their Eyes become Scarlet and are treated as treasures.

As Galaxia closes in to take Sailor Moon's star seed, the Light of Hope finally reveals itself. Turning into a sword, the Light of Hope begs Usagi to use its power to stop Galaxia, who is now fully consumed by Chaos.
