As the Minks struggle with a poor hand against the Gifters, Kin’emon tries to assist them, but Dogstorm and Cat Viper stop him and start fighting for the other Minks! Meanwhile, Luffy and Zoro try to get to the rooftop to help Kin’emon and the others, but Queen and King get in their way.

In the Holy Land Mary Geoise during the Reverie, Sabo runs into Bartholomew Kuma’s daughter Bonney. Meanwhile, King Cobra of the Kingdom of Alabasta begins asking the Five Elders questions that trouble them.

Natsu and Gray are up against the Naked Mummy guild. Meanwhile, Wendy is instructed to revive Jellal, who she "owes her life to". Wendy, though having heard of Jellal's bad deeds before, does not believe in them. Instead, she decides to resurrect Jellal, the one who saved her life. Natsu and Gray easily defeat the whole Naked Mummy guild, and are now up against Erigor, whom Natsu had once defeated. Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus (excluding Hibiki and Ichiya, since Ichiya was captured) also defeat the other guilds they are up against. Nastu soon defeats Erigor, and everyone finds out where the base of Oración Seis is by asking those they defeated. Having reached near the base, Natsu shouts for Happy and Wendy, and attracts the attention of the Oracion Seis. Racer starts a fight with Natsu and Gray. Natsu and Charle go to find Wendy and Happy themselves, while Gray battles Racer alone. The two arrive to see Jellal revived. Natsu, Happy, Wendy and Charles leave first in order to heal Erza. Racer sees them escaping and tries to stop them, but Gray stops him in his tracks instead.

After his defeat, Luffy is sent to a prison in the Udon region. Kiku returns to the mountain where Oden Castle was destroyed and discovers that the group there managed to escape the destruction. Franky, Robin, Usopp, and Zoro read the news about Luffy's fight with Kaido. Inuarashi and his group discover Tama alive and take her into the forest. At the prison in Udon, Luffy meets Kid again.

Singing out loud, the Roger Pirates continue on with their journey. They soar up to the island above the clouds and go down into the deep sea to get to the island at the sea bottom. Oden deciphers the Ponegliffs on those islands for Roger who believes those inscriptions will tell them the location of the last island on the Grand Line.

Stussy suddenly knocked out Lucci to the Straw Hats’ surprise, and when Shaka reveals her true identity, they’re stunned again. Meanwhile, a major incident occurs on an island called Sphinx where Whitebeard came from.

Luffy amps up the reluctant Momonosuke, who is afraid of heights, in his giant pink dragon form, to fly and take him to Onigashima in the sky. Meanwhile, Yamato, in a hard battle against Kaido, vows to survive until Luffy returns.

Stussy and Sentomaru discuss how big the threat that closes in on Egghead is as Luffy and the others keep fighting the uncontrollable Seraphim. Meanwhile, in an underground lab, someone approaches Vegapunk, who is being held captive.

Leorio's confrontation with Ging earns him the respect of his fellow Hunters and make him one of the frontrunners for the election. Meanwhile, Illumi begins an attack on Killua as part of his plan to kill Alluka, assisted by Hisoka, who has other plans for her.

The Akazaya members start charging towards Kaido from the back of Onigashima. Meanwhile, at the Performance Floor, Kaido closes in on Momonosuke shivering in terror and asks him the ultimate question which will determine his fate.

Light uses the Death Note to try to get rid of the woman who could get him captured, and is shocked when it doesn’t work. Realizing she must have given him an alias, he’s only got minutes to find out her real name before she tells her story to the task force.

While Higuchi is finally captured, Light inadvertently regains his memories as Kira.

Zoro and Sanji start fighting against Orochi’s clan. Nami and the rest of the Straw Hats join them. Meanwhile, at the Excavation Labor Camp, a new criminal, Hitokiri Kamazo, has arrived. And someone else who is brought to the site reveals the shocking truth about Kamazo.

It is revealed that Orochi had the Beasts Pirates bombed the Thousand Sunny and destroyed some bridges to cut off routes to Tokage Port. At the port, the Nine Red Scabbards prepare to continue with the raid on their own. A flashback to many years ago begins.

Killua is allowed by his family to leave the Zoldick estate with his sister, but only under supervision of several butlers with orders to bring them home if he ever leaves Alluka's side or allows any of their secrets to be leaked. Meanwhile, Leorio appears and confronts Ging, asking him why he had not ever paid a visit to Gon at the hospital yet.

The formidable Lead Performers of the Animal Kingdom Pirates stand in Zoro’s way as he tries to get to the rooftop. Marco sees his late comrade in Zoro’s determination and tries to pave the way for him.

Far away from the palace, Netero prepares himself to confront the king, who much to his surprise, recognizes his value as a fighter and is not willing to kill him. Meanwhile, Pouf learns the situation from Pitou and sneaks past Gon's vigilance to rejoin Youpi as they leave the palace to search for the king.

Netero convinces the king to fight him by revealing that he will tell him his true name once defeated. The chairman then unleashes his most powerful technique that despite striking the king countless times, olny manages to scratch him.

Shaiapouf's plan to kill Komugi is thwarted when Killua faces him in a battle of words and speed. When the King arrives in the palace, Shaiapouf is resolved to get rid of the Gungi board before the King can remember anything else. Finally, Neferpitou and Gon arrive at the place of their long-awaited battle.

After the fall of the king, the remaining Chimera Ants move on with their lives, each following their own path. However, Gon is still in critical condition after his battle with Neferpitou and Killua departs in search for a way to heal his body. Meanwhile, the top members of the Hunter Association, the Zodiacs, assemble to organize the election to choose the next president, following the will of Netero's last message.
